As i understand for now, the ASUS bootloader is still locked so no custom roms available for it?

What are the feedbacks from existing ATP users? I know rooting is doable. The stock ICS ROM is okay?
ICS as a media player , good.
As a game machine, required more support..(shd be more as can see more updates on games)

I think a lot of people having that problem. Read in transformer forum. Mine too but not as often as those people I read

could you send me the link to that forum? your recommendation is to reformat and update firmware when it is docked? does it actually work? have you tried it successfully? that problem is damn irritating!

I believe the BT pairing works fine. Sending of files varies as it oni recognizes media files and pdf. Tried sending an APK file it failed.

screw BT transfer, move on to network storage/transfer solution with es file explorer. set yourself free:s12:

I had bad experience with ASUS Transformer Prime and Asus Service in general. It was just yesterday that I was joyous to open up my Prime to set it up. My relatives purchased it before CNY and I have not touched it since I was busy with CNY and school.

When I open it up after charging it carefully, I wish to set up my android and I noticed that one of the corner of both the tablet and keyboard dock were chipped as if it had been dropped before. I called the seller who pointed me to the ASUS service centre. I went to the service centre just today.

ASUS Service Centre's attitude was sympathetic, but they insisted on me paying in total over $245 for the chipped corner. Of course, I refused and spent long time arguing that it is not my fault and it came like that.

It should be pointed out that the chipped corner was hidden inside the plastic covering (those who bought should know) and thus not noticed when checked from outside the cover. The service people insisted that you should check before buying bla2, blaming the defect on me and my relatives and yet they need to be pointed out the problem, one of them took 2 minutes spinning around the tablet before his colleague point to the corner.

What should I do? Just accept the bad fate?

can anyone help me with this? Open any ppt document using polaris office, select the specific text from a textbox and change its text to red.

I can't seem to "select" the text. anyone can help? I tried to stroke my finger across the word, long press at the word but it doesn't.

btw, the notes that are added on polaris, can they be viewed on microsoft ppt? I don't seem to be able to.

iconia do not have a SD slot...USB port looks "correct".
Asus had a SD card slot..just place your 32G SD and done...
The wifi version, will need teethering from your other device...else, through dock, usb dongle

kyleongwl, you are right. But the Iconia does have a Micro SD slot for this purpose. The USB port comes in handy when there is a need to connect to a external HDD for file transfers.

However, different products to suit different needs of different people. :)

I almost kena... when I was buying.... i realised that the plastic wrapper on the keyboard was abit scratch.. the salesman told me that plastic scratch is normal... set will be ok... but luckily I insisted to open the plastic... true enough there was a hugh dent at that side of the dock....

and he gave me another set straight away....

If I didnt check and walk out of the shop... they would surely point the finger at me...

Just did go to seller today. Accused me of causing the dent. Waste a lot of my time telling him I am not. Called his product manager, he thinks I will afraid of big shot in his shop. The manager called ASUS quoted me same price, I refused to pay like any sane person would. Then, after some more talks, he said he could perhaps asked ASUS to lower down service charge.

I waited long time for reply then quoted me same price again. He said he could do nothing and again blamed me for not coming sooner. Yet it was one of his personnel who told me only to come today. In the end, I left the Prime there. He said he will see what he can do.

One costumer also came with problem with ASUS when we conversed. Since it is female, he left me and sayang2 with costumer, even opening his laptop to show where and how to go to ASUS while I waited there.

Quite surprised at the bad service considering they are big retailers in FUNAN and also got branch in SLS. Called Digital Asia I think. I will never go there again.
