This model looks value for money.

Anyone know the pricing for I5 with 8gb ram and 256gb ssd?
If there is this model.

amazon has the i5 one. $749.99usd, only left 1 day for the Microsoft store promo tho iirc.

Just bought a micro HDMI cable and tried to link up to my TV. But unfortunately no output projected onto the TV. Any settings that I should look into?

Check your default audio device. Make sure the format is in a format deocdable by your tv.

Just checked, Amazon ship this UX305LA i5 8gb ram 256gb ssd to Singapore. Only in Titanium gold though for this model.

Total damage including shipping and GST is about SGD 1,247.28 according amazon. Good deal?

wait for skylake. dell and acer just released their laptops with skylake, asus and apple coming soon

Don't demonise Core M processors... The Yoga 3 was crap cos Lenovo screwed up big time with the Core M for some reason. You can read the reviews all over the internet. The UX305 with Core M works a treat... it's smooth and fast and doesn't hiccup. I've played back full HD movies on the SSD, from a portable HDD or from Youtube and the playback was smooth... no stuttering at all. Photoshop is also ok provided your files aren't in the 1 GB and higher range.
