I receive the same email to say that it will take 4-6 hours to process. I waited but no response. Call MS landline and they mentioned that order get rejected.

Only bad thing is the hinge broke easily. I got it with my UX303 which has the same hinge designed. Lucky ASUS service centre replace it foc for me but for first time only.

While waiting at service centre. Saw many has the same issue. According to them, this is a common issue for these series.

Hi denilson, is your paypal account setup in singapore? When you make the pyt via paypal, did microsoft store inform you that they need 4-6 hours to process it or your order is confirmed and processed?

Csc, you're the only user in this thread who has complained about a broken hinge and that's for a different model. While the hinge may look the same superficially, it may not actually be the same. Also there have been next to no feedback on local channels about a fault with the hinge. So it does seem to be a one-off case with your laptop. And we also don't know how your laptop hinge came to be broken and the type of stress it was subjected to.

Finally, the ST has reported a very large number of this specific UX305 model being sold. So we shall have a far larger sample size for reference. If it is indeed a design fault as you seem to insinuate, then we shall have lots of feedback here.

So in the meantime kindly refrain from raising the hinge issue as if it is a confirmed design fault. And to also note that your laptop is of a different model. The outer case of the UX305 is significantly different as the UX303 is much thicker and heavier.
