May i know why do you choose to use a forwarder, since there is direct shipping from amazon.

I ram when I ordered two wks ago, direct shipment is not available. Since direct shipment is available, it is super worth it to buy from Amazon.

can anyone tell me does ASUS Zenbook UX305FA-USM1 Signature Edition Laptop in microsoft website offers international warranty?

I saw in the website by MSOutReachTeam which says it offers international warranty but i did online chat with the microsoft sales team and they said they do not offer international warranty and there is no such department named MSOutReachTeam.

You referring to power plug adapter? If not wrong, it is usable in Singapore. You guess need to get the plug converter .

Hi, I also intend to order one. Do you know if the warranty is international? The charger is universal right? Thanks.

Please note that your power cord has two components... the transformer, that is the square brick. That is a universal transformer. It's used to step down the electricity from the wall socket to your laptop. This prevents your laptop from being fried. Universal transformer simply means it will automatically switch from 120 V to 220 V and vice versa. So you don't have to buy another power cord. All the power cords are the same for whichever market.

What is different from market to market is the plug pin configuration. That is whether it comes with three pins or two flat pins or three slanted pins, etc... this is just a physically different way to connect the power cord to the wall and it doesn't make any difference to the power supplied to your laptop.

In other words, to all those thinking of buying from USA, you just need to buy a pin adapter to convert the default pin configuration to our three pin version used in Singapore. Don't need to worry about buying another power cord.

can i know wats the shipping fee + gst charges? thx!

Unless amazon/overseas got some sales ....forwarding ux305 almost seems not very worth it...

Shipping fee shld be ard 50-80 , gst charges 7% .

Well shld be cheaper by a 2-3 hundred bucks than local cause local really carrot head prices .Need to wait for new pc show prices to confirm this.

Asus is international warranty btw .

I feel it's worth it to get from Amazon or Microsoft as the ram and storage overseas set has is 2X that of local. Only local set with i7 processor has 8G ram and 256G storage if I am correct.

I paid less than $1260 for local i7 8G 256G SSD set, I don't think it is worth getting from Amazon, not with the local set pricing list at $1298.

Currently there is an SG50 promo (-$50).

$1298 is the list price from ASUS. I saw two shops showing this price, one shop have an SG50 offer (-$50) some more, 3rd floor Funan. The model I bought today is UX305CA.
