the capacitive buttons has no lit. screen on time is around 4.5 - 5 hrs with mixture of 3g and 4g usage for me. (high data usage user, no wifi. ze550ml model has slower cpu and lower resolution, which lower battery consumption in my opinion )

i think lazada is the cheapest now.
$269 for ZE550ML.

Can i confirm the difference between 551ML and 550ML is:
Full HD
32GB
NFC

yes, it just that the current 551ml version also use 2gb for ram,
but there should be 4gb version coming up

I cant decide to get which one... either the 550 or 551...

550ml really value for money... and the 720p screen dun really bother me, and if im not mistaken, lower res screen means faster gpu performance due to lesser pixel rendering which also means better battery life?

but since im currently holding on to xperia Z1, im not sure if there's even any performance improvement going from Qualcom 800/ Adreno 330 to Intel Z3560 /PowerVR 6430.

Thats why im considering 551ml, for the Z3580 for more omph..

Can u guys shed some light on battery life on the 550ml?

theoretically the intel chip is 43k antutu while the snapdragon 800 is around 30k. Since its not much of an upgrade you should stick with your current one.

As for battery life if youre light user, i left home at 100% on 3g and use for occasioonal surfing, as of now still have 68%

Can read all about it. Boostmaster is just actually Qualcomm Quickcharge 2.0. They did not charge any royalty to use the tech. Just need the OEMs to license it. You activate by having the charge with the correct power sizing. The 18 W charger is only available with the 4gig RAM ZE551ML model. This latter bit is clear from the Asus Website.

I am having issue with my charging..it discharges my phone even using original charger..unless i use samsung charger

Were you using it with GPS or screen on when charging. I have that issue when both GPS and screen are working with maps running.
