Should take it and then sell it. Can fetch $100 about same price as those RT-N56U from M1 can fetch. I bought a 7002 at $100 for standby backup (sort of full redundancy).
This is how I know customers connect to diff ACS URL, use different ACS Username and ACS Password after I swapped one for failing 2.4Ghz radio. The one I swapped from ComCentre connects to their support ACS URL which is not as stable as customers' ACS URL. So I fired up the backup and get the ACS URL to change. Then some time later, the ACS Username and Password was changed automatically to match the 7002 serial (similar to the backup and the one I swapped to them), probably by their backend. Otherwise was their support's login.
Thanks for the info but IMO not worth the trouble for just $100 as I need to arrange for someone to wait at home to collect it from their technician and also post in marketplace and waste more time meeting up to deal (not to mention the frustration if kenna aeroplane flyer
From what was confirmed by their CSO, they can do the upgrade remotely since I opted out of the 7002.
BTW, I configured my managed switch with VLAN 40 disallowed on the port that goes to my router (VLAN 10) so their backend has no access to my networking gears
