anyone met the issue of erratic wifi speeds on note 4?

I have changed the channels to the least congested for both 2.4 and 5.0 bandwidth,

Please tweak your Aztech DSL7002GRV(S) for Wireless access, same for DSL7000GRV

followed instructions above.

And yet the maximum speed I get is 50mbps, slowest is 5. even at 50mbps, my clash of clans launch slower than my 4G+ on singtel network...

Clash of clans runs on the amazon cloud network and connects to multiple clients, and is often mistaken by traffic shaping protocols as P2P..

You can try by doing nslookup on gamea.clashofclans.com, it reverts a bunch of IP address which belongs to the cloud servers for CoC....

As such, either request your ISP to undo traffic shaping for port 9339 or smth.

Or, if you crazy enough, you can try doing nslookup for CoC under different DNS server multiple times, get the list of server address and send in to them for unblocking for P2P if target destination is that.. :s13::s13:

Good luck, have fun. Was hella hard time convincing ppl that its not P2P. So yea. did quite alot of research on this myself.

I'm on a different ISP so.. they eventually fixed it for me :) basically did a exclude from traffic shaping.

But on ST end probably... it'll be pretty hard... It could be related their recent routing issues thou, the one re-routing all asia connections through excess routing.

Hi anyone managed to change their DNS servers in this router? I managed to get into their admin page via 192.168.1.254/singtel but the WAN section is completely blank. I suspect ST might have disable it. Anyone managed to get around this?

mine is blank too.

anyone got problem with their NAS which is connected to the 7002 router?
I have recently changed to a new 7002 router from an old 7002 router that gave me problem. However after this change, I am unable to use the local area network folders to access my Synology NAS. I can access it but it is extremely laggy. Only when i try using a ethernet cable from my laptop will it be ok.
I tried using my old PACE router and it work totally fine. So the problem must be with the Aztech wireless settings. If anyone got this problem and know how to solve this. I am eternally grateful

holy shiat, so i'm not the only one. my 7002 also has a shitty connection with my Synology NAS. the traffic throughput is like below 1 KB/s almost all the time, and i always get network errors when trying to check for NAS updates or accessing any internet function through the NAS. Also, i can't even move files to my shared folders using Windows Explorer on this bloody 7002 piece of shiat.

i've called singtel and after a long long time they said it can't be the singtel settings. so they asked me to contact Aztech directly. which of course sucks because their support section sucks balls. i don't think they even have more than a couple of lines for their phone support, because i've tried calling them all day and NO ONE ANSWERS THE ******* PHONE.

**** aztech, man.

Their support actually know only basic thing about their router. Earlier i called them to ask about wifi channel bonding for 7003 but they told me that it is not available for ST router.

at any rate, i called in to singtel to complain/feedback. told them my NAS works fine with the 2wire eqpt, but absolutely cannot work with the 7002. they arranged for one of their technicians to come down and see if a change of eqpt (to 7003? if aztech again i don't think will have any success...) will solve the problem i face.

I will terminate my ST 500M when my contract end as I am very disappointed.

Check the setting for QoS.

Set the "Select Default DSCP Mark" to "No Change(-1)".

changed to 7003 and now everything works fine. probably there is something in the 7002 that prevents traffic going to and from my NAS.

I experienced the same problem with my NAS.
I complained once in 2014 but they didn't change my router.
What do I exactly have to say or do to get another router?

Say connection is lagging and request to change to FG7003. Do not mention about NAS.

Only 1 LAN port on the ONT is provisioned, unless you have 2 separate ST fibre services that come through 2 LAN ports of the ONT.

The standard connection is router to the provisioned and therefore working LAN port on the ONT, then everything else to the router. If you have only 1 fibre service from ST, then the other 3 LAN ports on ONT are not working.

Edit to add Settings:
Auto
IPOE
DHCP

Edit again:
I see you are on ST Unlimited. Then I not sure whether the 7002 will even work.
