Ordered stuff and was told to go down to collect.
End up no stock.

They also used papers to act as foams when they ship HDD. LOL

Misleading customers into paying for something online that either isnt in stock or with wrong pricing is a very bad business practice.

Yes it is only my Paypal deducting from my credit card and refunding it, but the point is the hassle and pain of

1) going down to find no stock or wrong pricing,

2) having our blood pressure raised by this bunch of unrepentent fools (i kena back in Sept last year, this shop still hasnt learnt up to now)

3) Having to cancel the order on our own because the shop cannot be bothered and wait ages for qoo10 to process the refund, when i could have gotten the item elsewhere.

I have been doing PC DIY for 20+ years and this is the 1st time i have seen a shop this venal and unethical.

Back in Sept last year, i ordered a Kraken X52 AIO from Vii's Qoo10 listing, money deducted from my PayPal with instructions to self-collect. At that time, TD had no stock for Kraken AIOs, so did a lot of SLS shops and i needed one urgently

Lo and behold, i went down and guess what? They no stock for said item.

Was quite pissed, because its $200+ gone from my Paypal. Got even more pissed when they insisted i cancel the order from my end.

Got my money back in the end, but learnt my lesson to avoid this shop's online listings like the plague

Had similar (or exactly the same) experience as you. Bought Kraken X52 from them last Oct-Nov period on Qoo10. In their Qoo10 page, said got 5 quantity left (when all other shops have zero stock), and bought it.

Went down to their shop on the 2nd day and was told no stock. i showed them their Qoo10 listing with 5 quantity left and they say forget to update the stock count. I was given 2 options: (1) wait till next week for stock to come (2) cancel order.

As i was using the Qoo10 coupon (50 off 250/300) and wanted the discount, i waited for a week. They have competitive pricing but their customer service really cmi

This reminds me about the Apple Iphone incident at SLS a few years back, use low price to lure customers and then use unethical method to flip.

Well you just made them give themselves probably enough penalty to stay downgraded at good seller for the next month for the 1% elevated fee above power seller.

People don't expect atas standards. Normal basic retail service is enough. If no stock, just write no stock. Ensure correct pricing displayed online. If even such simple thing cannot do, what more can you ask for atas standard?

Should have try to contact paypal, which favours buyer most of the time.

Qoo10 too, sometimes they works. Would never cancel on my end for such nonsense.

i'm amused by comments here that it's TS's fault. so now when we buy things we need to calculate how much they earn and assess if the price they put up is reasonable and if there's pricing error at their side? this pricing error is not that they sell it for $1 or other ridiculous price. how the hell do customers know?

this is an extremely basic thing for retailer to check their price and stocks status. hello, they are doing a business! aren't they responsible for the products they sell? you mean it's the customers' responsibility to check?

Speaking of Vii, im not sure if they can control their lazada acct but they cancelled 2 of my 1050 orders at $190 before i bought from convergent.... must be cant earn enough profit from it at $190. Note it was from 2 diff lazada accts.

It was 1 mth ago before CNY when i built for my friend. Vii was selling at $189 when convergent was selling at $190.

Funny thing was that at that time when i searched for GTX 1050, Vii option (Zotac & Palit) came up but not convergent (Palit). So i just went ahead with it. Only when it was cancelled the 2nd time, then i specifically went to search for convergent listing and found that they are also selling.

Bought from them and immediately got processed and next day ship out le....

Quite dulan at that time, made me make new accounts just to reorder those....
