Also higher electric tariff, about 200% of residential :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I have been paying the highest tier of commercial rate since renting out my R&F unit for AirBNB.

I can assure you that based on the tiered system and reaching the highest rate, the electricity cost is still about 1/2 of Singapore…

Shows how much we are being fleeced by PAP..

yah, I saw their electricity rate is ridiculously low. do you manage the unit yourself or rent to an entity that uses it as airbnb?

Why are you paying commercial rate for your condo? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I remember paying only 0.218 sen per KWH :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Anyone buying Arden? The next astaka that can also do airbnb, but with a hefty price tag of around 1300 myr psf. Its a Short walk away to future RTS station and there will be premium shopping center and hotel in the same development later.

Alternatively, am also thinking about Paragon Gateway, which is way cheaper psf but at a location further north 10 mins from CIQ.

Tiagong friend who stay at Astaka say workmanship not very good despite being marketed as most luxurious condo in JB. Water leak despite new apartment. Badly installed doors. Poor noise insulation. So you gauge the quality since same developer, and Arden is supposedly the 'cheaper' alternative. Arden is going to take a really long time to build also, judging by their construction speed. There's no short walk, it's only close to the RTS depot and not the actual station. The premium shopping centre was marketed to the early buyers of Astaka, and still hasn't been fulfilled almost so many years later. So how long more will it take for Arden? They are advertising a lot of new features for Arden like personalised concierge but my friend who lives here complains the concierge at Astaka is just someone who sits at the front and is missing half the time. Nothing special. Also please note the location of Arden, which is near Astaka. Friend constantly mentions about noise nearby despite living high floor. Take the jhk salespeople's words with a pinch of salt here. Don't see any Malaysian property purchase as an investment.

Rnf princess cove is the best. Can walk to Singapore

The link bridge is cropped off, it's divided into two sections now due to RTS work~ time taken to walk from CIQ to the mall needs 9½ min~ if it's phase 2, add another 5 to 8 min, depends which tower~

From CIQ to RTS station probably needs another 10min++ total time to walk from princess cove to RTS, probably 25 min~ :s22:

POFMA you for fake news lah. Closest distance is to walk below the bridge :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Time to reach RTS is about 15mins TOPs. Doable in 10mins if you walk like the JHK there :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Phase 2 is linked by bridge to the mall so add another 3-5mins unless you're an elderly snail :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I don't enjoy walking for any distance in our tropical weather. I'd rather drive 1-2mins to CIQ :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

While theoretically it's 1-2 mins drive, but you still have to factor in time to wait for Grab, traffic conditions which can get bad sometimes over there.

fleeced by pap.... SG power sources are cleaner and more costly to operate. SG uses gas turbines and a bit of waste to energy. Malaysia uses oil fired plants. maybe even coal.
I got an Airbnb at grid residences in Medini. self managed. quite easy to reach from Jurong. CW bus goes to my unit directly. many Singaporean and Malaysian travel daily up and down. small unit tho. 800 sq ft

from R&F mall bridge (not princess cove) to city sq already 15min, RTS station is further down, you can do it at 10min~? do you know the entrance facing of the RTS~? we will wait till the project to complete then say~ you claiming just like what other agents are saying, all within walking distance, 5min to SG~ need to take a big pinch of salt~ :s22:
