Anyone here tried linking your Apple Pay to their Debit card to qualify for their minimum spend ($500) bonus interest?

I pay income tax via cardup using BOC card to fulfill the $500 spend. I thought min spend raised to $700 now?

Minimum spend for BOC Family credit card rebates is now $700.

$500 is for the Card Spend Bonus Interest for the BOC SmartSaver account.

2 different amounts.

i just opened a BOC account and was given debit card, credit card still processing, any senior can help advise can I use the debit card to pay AIA insurance or tuition center fee to get 0.8% bonus interest for my saving because I saw 'FEES' will be excluded under the T&C? Thks:)

Cash withdrawal
'Fees' or charges
Funds transfer or cash advance
Transactions on BOC Cards that are terminated or unsuccessful
The unposted amounts under Installment Payment Plan (“IPP”) and Flexi-Balance transactions
Any amount charged to your BOC Debit or Credit Cards that is subsequently cancelled, voided or reversed
AXS payments (transactions via all AXS channels, including AXS station, AXS e-station, AXS m-station, etc.)
Any other transactions BOC may determine as not eligible for Card Spend bonus from time to time without prior notice.

How to check monthly payable due

I find the BOC internet banking layout really confusing.

How do you guys check the amount that is payable monthly under each billing period, and the due date for payment?

I've been calling the hotline, but I keep getting an automated error message saying that my 'credit card account' is wrong when I am sure I have entered my credit card number correctly.

time to say gd bye to my boc smartsaver.

reason being although im currently a big spender in boc and ocbc, but int rate achievable by smartsaver boc is already lower then 1 yr return rate of ssb.

http://www.sgs.gov.sg/savingsbonds/Your-SSB/This-months-bond.aspx

i have no salary credit to boc, means my realistic interest per month in boc is only 1.55% which is lower then SSB 1.72%..

can add 0.35% for 3 bill payment.

It is 1.6% if spend more 1.5K on cc.

Go to Credit Card => Past Statement

Choose the Credit Card you want and the statement date period and click on "Inquiry"

The Maturity Date is the payment due date

The Net Balance Due is the amount payable for that statement month (the figure at the end of the equation). The amount in the bracket is the Min Payment Due

Maybe im slow.. i just found out smartsaver account accounting for CC spent is based on Calendar month whereas my CC statement is usually 20-something to next month 20-something..

in the end, i didnt get the 1.6% cc spent interest even though my cc spent is 1.7k... they only calculated 1.4k :(:(

Yes, and BOC unfortunately cant change the cc processing date unlike other bank.

My BOC Family is on the 9th every month. Most of the time I never spend from 7-9 of the month. Quite troublesome LOL

my spendings fluctuate between 600-2k month to month, so cannot really guarantee a >1.5k spending bonus interest.

Im getting 1.55% from 0.35% cc spend, 0.8% spend bonus and 0.4% deposit interest.
