yes, this is the tricky part.
you need to time it yourself.
and the worst thing, is BOC dont allow to move billing cycle for it to coincide. which i dont understand why not.

BOC can do it easily. If they want to. I think it is a matter of straitforward software programming. Beginner level programming actually.

However, it is not in BOC's self interest to make it easier for their bank customers to get bonus interest or cash rebate for card spend. The less money customers can claim, the more profit BOC makes.

Hi all, for the $1500 spending to earn bonus interest of 1.6%, does it allow spending across different BOC cards (eg Family $1000 and zaobao $500)?

Thanks

I don't find BOC arrogant at all compared to our local banks OCBC & UOB. They are willing to waive credit card annual fees with just a call.

The benefits of their bank account and credit card is good. Just have to do some tracking which is not too difficult.

Yes, OCBC and UOB are hard to get the annual fee waiver, need to spend $X annually.

Before I got my BOC Family card (it took 7.5 weeks for it to arrive), I was using the Debit card to clock the spending even though the rebates was 0.1%

So can I confirm that if I spend $800 on the BOC family card, and then use the debit card to pay the $800 credit on the card, I will clock a total card spend of $1600 meeting the highest tier of card spend?

yea. In fact they are the same as debit card pay credit card only possible via AXS.

Hi Trazora, ask you huh, for the bonus interest, it is counted based on monthly average balance right?
then the base interest is calculated based on daily rest balance?

Am i right?
