You mean A and B can have one personal account each and open another joint as the 3rd account to earn interest?

No no that's not what I meant. The question is one joint account with multiple income sources. Yes u can.

One can open a joint and personal...however, u can only have 1 account that earn 3.55%

Need some advice on use of debit card.

Bonus interest upto 60k. When use debit card, the balance in smart saver is not deducted immediately. Eg my smartsaver is 60k. Charged $100 to debit card by master (not nets) yesterday. Today I check IB, bank bal still show 60k. I do see $100 under debit card.

1. When will the $100 be deducted against bank balance ?

2. To get max bonus interest for 60k, do I need to transfer in $100 from other bank on the day I use the debit card or on the day the amount is reduced from smartsaver ?

Thank you.

Actually if u log in via ibank

U will see 2 balances. One deducted and one does not. Doesn't matter the $$ has alr been deducted just not posted yet. Once it is posted, it will be reduced. Couple of days usually.

Yes, please transfer though I know in the past due to system limitation, they will based on the before deducted balance. But who knows when their system become smarter, just transfer the $100 back once u spend to avoid disappointment

1) 1-2 working days to reflect in system
2) Transfer same day it is deducted.

Hi, I recently just applied for the credit card. I activated it today but don’t see it in my linked account. Must I physically go down to link it to my account?

Yes. Bring your IC and the credit card to BOC branch to link your card to your internet banking. Need to do it for each new BOC credit card.

I have OCBC 360 with 70K, salary credit 1.2%, 3pymt 0.3%(Endow 1pymt already hit $150, another 2 pymt minimum sum easy to pay), credit card spend 0.3%(no need to spend cos bot mthly endowment), base 0.05%. = Total 1.85%

Salary for both OCBC and BOC at 1.2%, the difference is OCBC with interest at 70K but BOC only at 60K so perhaps still ok to credit at OCBC?

Now my BOC balance dropped to 50K so I am thinking whether is it more worthwhile to transfer 10K from OCBC 360 to BOC? My BOC - No salary credit, spent 1500(1.6%, also made 3 pymt(0.35%), base 0.4%.

Any advise?

Change ur salary to BOC
Top up max to 60k

Ditch OCBC.

Change to Citibank maxigain to get 2% (after 12 months) for ur remaining amount.

Alternatively, change to UOBone...u don't need a salary

Can't be all interest, when u click on each transaction only those with transaction type interest settlement is interest.

your average daily balance is around $58062

23.16 (maybe base interest, calculated daily)
1.38 (rebate for debit card?)
0.36 (rebate for debit card? you used more than 1 debit card I assume. transaction type is inward transfer for debit card rebate)
17.26 (likely Meet 3 bill spent)
78.90 (likely card spent interest)
5.11 (no idea)

Anyway quite surprised u have your jul bonus interest already, I not yet receive.
