Bills payment,
1. Credit cards(multiples, hopefully min. 2 , please pay only 30bucks , and not more. The rest pay through boc debit card to earn 0.1% rebates)

2. Utilities (usually hardest to get a rebates, but actually there is one way of getting rebates for this, if you explore hard enough in this thread (4.5% rebates))

3. Telco (not recommended unless you have got no 2nd choice, because it is better off paying through Dbs live fresh card which earn you a 5% rebates or other cards)

4. Family member/friends credit cards/telco bills/utilities bills.

Manual payment is better , you get to control the sum of payment.

Hi i have been following this thread since last year but do not remember how to get this 4.5%, can advise further on this pls or PM? Thanks

The physical machine or mobile app? Tried with the app both under Debit Card-> Other bank and MasterCard -> pay by 16 digit card no but the transaction didn’t go through. I’m using the Chinese Cultural Debit Card though

Mobile app. Physical machine should work the same though. It is always not smooth and need several tries to have successful transaction.

Try again on the next day or on some other days if unsuccessful.

I started using it recently by mobile app with the cultural master debit card. If I remember correctly, I chose under MasterCard -> pay by 16 digit card number. Not the option under debit card. After payment, I save this card, next time just choose pay by preferred master card. *Touch wood. I have not encounter problem yet except unable to add it into Masterpass.

I have been clocking > $1500 spendings on this card since smartsaver started. Now they changed the game and 1.6% seems unachievable now cos even if you max dining at $300, online at $600, telco at $100, still lack of $500 which could be groceries, but 5% is too low. So I will just spend $700-$800 max on this darn card now

Hey , you can explore flash pay , auto top up function, for public transport (clock 200 /mth)
Use singtel dash to clock min. Spend of 200 per nric/fin no. You can definitely hit 1.5k at ease.
