complicated ... yes, TnC takes some understanding, but those familiar know how to make most of it

rewards r guaranteed if terms r met, but sometimes late crediting

Hi sgbird, you may join the HSBC thread to know the details. Assuming the same promotions are still ongoing, you can have 2 accounts to merry go round to earn the interest yet maintaining the flexibility of withdrawing the amount if required. BOC has its advantages over HSBC, but i will prefer HSBC for its much higher interests by jumping through some hoops.

Can I check if anyone is on Android 12? Any issues with the BOC app (e.g. crashing etc.)?

EDIT: Emailed customer service, they confirmed that the app is compatible with Android 12 with effect from 21 November 2021.

What does EM refer to? I use BOC for supermarket spending + online spedning, ShengSiong card for ShengSiong market spending easily hit the target

BOC Elite miles mastercard

U mean BOC Family Card?
-supermarket spending and online spending same category and capped at $25, means max spend $833 for 3% rebate, spending more than that in this category no rebate

BOC sheng shiong card
- 6% rebate capped at $45 mean max spend $750 per month

the categorial spend makes it hard to use as a main credit card
for me, I probably have to manufacture alot of spend just to hit $1500 in groceries and online shopping
