S100 is having a thinner body n thinner ring making it noticeable thinner than S90. quick video button n able to zoom during recording is cool.

but the location of the sling hole at the top left seems inconvinient when compared to the S90's middle right. (not true, see next post)

silly me. i was wrong. there r actually 2 sling holes, 1 top left n 1 top right (the design n location r actually slighly different). when i saw the left 1 n i assumed that's the only 1!!

I just bought a Powershot S100 for my friend at Funan. Saw quite a number of people who came from IT Show to buy at Funan, because the IT Show price is $699, while Funan's prices are from $649 - $625, for virtually the same promo.

Tried out the camera when I passed it to my friend. Got to say that I am very impressed with it. We were in a dark restaurant, and we could shoot quite nice pics even without the flash. The pics turned out quite nice even. Very nice.

that's what the S series r good at. ie. low-light n dun use flash.

The Lexar 8GB class 6 comes in a blister pack.

The Canon brown leather pouch is good as you do not need to buy a new pouch.
