If no need telco to meet the $1500 card spend for 1.6% interest on smartsaver then should use other cards with higher rebate for telco.

Smart saver 0.8% bonus interest on $500 spend nia... interest is ard $40... or did i miss out somehting...

Both are right. $500 spend get 0.8% bonus interest, if spending reach $1.5k, additional 0.8% = 1.6% bonus interest for spending.

why dun u use BOC cc, it gives bonus interest on the smart saver ard $40... and still got 1% rebate

whereas Livefresh only gives $35 for min $700 spending online...

Pros and cons:
Live Fresh gives max $70 per calendar month with minimal $700 spending. I use it mainly for online shopping to hit minimal.

Whether to use BOC family for Telcos depends on whether you can hit the $1500 spend on BOC CC per month (I'm using it mainly for supermarkets, Cardup/IRAS, Nets Flashpay etc) so I would rather use other CC for the Telcos payment

Just received my BOC card yesterday and discover the benefit about cardup.. Is there any refereeal code before I sign up with cardup? Please PM me.
And how does the referral code works?

Question, the payment via cardup for income taxes - can count towards fulfilling the $500 BOC min spend?

Sent you referral code. Enter the code when you schedule your first payment and get up to $20 admin fee waived. Ie no 2.6% fee for payment up to $769.30.

Count to min $500.

Currently, Cardup is an eligible online purchase for Family cash rebate. It is also counted for the minimum spend of BOC family card n smart saver.

Also remember to schedule the CardUp payment as soon as possible as the T&C for BOC Family card has changed to limit the "Online" Category of rebates to $30 (Max $600 from Online category including CardUp will get rebates) starting from 18 Nov onwards. If you intend to use Cardup beyond $600, schedule it as soon as possible.

If for BOC online, spend more than 600, the excess still have 0.5% rebate?

can I use cardup for Citi SMRT 3% online rebate? Are they compatible?

Edit - - ignore below question about CIMB, since it doesn't have relevant online rebate.
Also can cardup use for CIMB master plat min spend of $500?

BTW, many thanks for the many received PM with referral codes. But I can only use one. Chooose the one which I received earliest, Trazora

Nobody knows for sure about the BOC online use. I called their CSO: his reply was that anything above $600 for online will not get further rebates. We won't know till someone tries it when the T&C kicks in lol

I'm not sure about the CIMB master card though since I'm not using it

hi
can anyone confirm Cardup Txn qualifies for rebates/cashback for credit card ?

not like AXS txn which is excluded right ?

Does this mean i can use CardUp to charge to be UOB One Card to 'pay myself' $400 x 5 times per month ?

so i hit the min 5 txn and also the $2000/mth.

With this i get 5% rebate and i pay 2.6% fees ( net earn 2.4% ) ???

CardUp Txn must be a valid goods and services payment. Can't pay yourself.

FYI - to answer my own earlier question about Citi SMRT rebate. Here's the reply from CardUp after I sent them a mail.

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, CardUp transactions are not considered online transactions for the Citibank SMRT credit card. Therefore, it will only pay the base earn rate (0.3%) with CardUp.

Can use CardUp to pay rent. Need to go through the CardUp verification process.
How much is your rent?
BOC new online rebate cap at $30 => charge to cc $600.

Because CardUp charge a service fee of 2.6%, if u are looking for cash rebate, need to use card that can earn more than that fee to make it worth it.

Ah ok. Thanks! Understood. Rent is about 650/mth. So I will still earn even if I solely use the BOC card for cardup transactions with 5% rebate on 600.

I thought I would be able to use cardup to hit 600/mth on OCBC credit cards to get additional 0.3% interest on 360 account. But not worth with the 2.6% service fee.

Why not switch to BOC smartsaver?
