The above flow is from aviva cso and is correct for GIRO. I did the same for cardup but need to call aviva as they post my cardup payment to a suspense account.

Regarding income tax payment : Eg mthly GIRO is $300. Total tax is $3600.

1. So if I pay say $250, GIRO for that mth would be $50 ?

2. What if I pay $1000 ? Does this mean no GIRO for next 3 mths ?

Should be doable, but do note the minimum fee of $3.40, or 2.6%, whichever is higher. $100 will incur $3.40 fee, which makes your fee 3.4%.

You can prepay whenever you like. Just need to know if there's a $ cap for prepayment, if there's any. You can even prepay in amount not = to your premium multiplication. They will just deduct or bill you the difference.
If my monthly premium is 100, I can prepay 288. Third month my bank will be deducted 12.
