Yes I did, to funeral parlour, and it was successful! Just have to match bank acc number in invoice to the bank acc number u r paying to.

i tried to pay insurance policy (AWG) for my brother. it was rejected. cardup said i cant pay for 3rd party and exception can only be made if payment is on behalf of spouse and childrens. my brother need to set up a cardup if i stilll want to make payment

CU sometimes dont make sense one

is this a first payment to new insurer where you need to upload premium notice ?

just to add ... they did not allow me to pay for my wife's policy saying it is against their compliance ! I was trying to use CNY88 promo code then.

so i told them is for my brother because the surname and the middle name is same as mine.

from the name only, how they determine it's not someone else spouse or kid ...

- aviva mindef group life insurance which is your own as well as not your own

ntuc not on CU drop-down list, so may face problem bcos they will check policy name, due date etc etc

aviva shld be ok, they r in list now

town council - probably yes, under Misc Payment. But usually not economical to use CU on payments of small value

I have not paid to any of these in the past, stand to be corrected.

If insurance premium is yearly which is paid at the beginning of policy year if im not wrong, and i use cardup to prepay a bit month by month, when next year's premium is due, will it be less what i have paid using cardup?

Note the min cardup fee to decide whether its worth it

If still want to proceed, i recall seeing the format on their giro form when it was still Aviva SAF. Have not tried though

I know it's the XXXXZZZZZZZZ
X is numerals and 1x being your IC excluding first letter S..
Same reference as your GIRO arrangement.

Payment → GIRO: Manage GIRO Arrangements → Add GIRO Arrangement → Select Aviva IND HEALTH INS (forSAF Product) as Billing Organisation.

The above flow is from aviva cso and is correct for GIRO. I did the same for cardup but need to call aviva as they post my cardup payment to a suspense account.
