It is on RF so it wouldn't work with an IR controller instead what you need is a IR+RF controller and have to support GHome.

Hi, there's a beam cutting across my masterbed room, so the max fan size i can purchase is 36". So far I came across a few brands e.g. Alpha, Fanco & Efenz (34").

Would you recommend any of the above of would you know of any other brands that offer this size please?

do the light turn on when you flip the switch for the fan? if it doesn't, I think it's rather impractical.

I think there's no need for minimum 240cm clearance between ceiling fan and floor as there's different profile mount for different ceiling height.
