So far after my research

Living room and dining room
Haiku L series 60”
Bedroom
PO fanPrestige m3
Balcony
Any $200 hugger

Last few weeks I was sourcing around, only these few brands reply to me via email. Those who don’t even response during sales likely will not help you during service

My turn to headache. I have a long living room. ID/contractor recommended only 1 central fan (if we stick to 2, it will be difficult to install downlights)

So I went I am down with
1)KDK U60FW 60"
2)EFENZ Tiffany 60 "or 52" ( apparently 52 can push 8610 CFM Vs 60 can push 7540 CFM)
3)PO ECO GUST 501 - H3 5 blade 56"
4)Bestar Vito 5, 52"

Base on your experience, Which one do you think moves air more effectively?

I read through this thread:
Efenz pull air all around...
Kdk, tank fan but like the rear, it only push air downwards....

haha not a living room, so also cannot. in the end went for the panasonic M15GW as F-M15ECVBKSH stalk is too long (not a tall ceiling)

Ic.

You can consider those corner drop down fan (normally used in the kitchen area) on top of a ceiling fan. Btw, the panasonic model you are getting, might have strobing effect since the light housing isn't flushed to the stem of the ceiling fan.

I am using a similar one as well and can see the strobing effect.

gg liao... arghh

How far is the distance between the tip of the fan blade to the wall? Did you measure or check with the people? Cos the integrated one has no strobing. I give you an example.

https://www.amazon.sg/KDK-E48GP-Con...81438eae371230d59d1dd92c9d2232d6&gad_source=1

This one 1 piece flushed, no strobe.

https://www.amazon.sg/KDK-Ceiling-R...c83952d9dd2232c28406c44020a317a4&gad_source=1

This one will have, also depends how you install it (how far away from walls).

Btw it's not the end of the world la @Stanley W . So far it hasn't annoyed me when I am working / using my desk in my bedroom, but if I lie down on my bed and look up I notice it.

Do you not have other lights in the room?

Day time with natural sunlight you won't notice it. Night time when you don't have natural light then you might have this issue. Anyway, the spacing in the video seems wide enough so maybe you will not suffer that much strobing.

YMMV

Hi,

Thanks

I bought mine from a shop near Pelangi. Purchased from them in 20215/16 and last purchased with them is DEC 2023 and got to know they actually do delivery to SG now.
I paid full for the fan at the shop and delivery fees of $30RM per fan and GST upon receiving the fan.
Got to know from the shop owner that they do accept payment via bank for over the phone order.

For Installation he recommended me a registered company in SG that charge min $100 per trip for up to 2 fan and +$50 SGD for every additional fan.
However I did not engage him as I got my own renovation contractor to do the job.

Lately talked to 1-2 fan suppliers. They try to avoid fanco, Bestar and PO (claimed all got broken blades before). Strongly recommended Haiku and Prestige M3 no horse run. Haha!

They also said if want to get 3rd party installer to install, also be prepared to appear in new when fan breaks. They said 3rd party installer cmi. Haha! Now a bit scare also

ok thank u, when go back to Sg, we don't have to pay for GST?

is K12UX good?
I think anything above $100( less than 48hrs in JB), you... Should... Declare (unless you wanna po Heng Suay)

Likewise if u asked them to deliver they will ask u to pay gst and delivery fee. One such shop is Yes Electrical... They are on FB. U can message them and check it out

I didn't get the k12ux though
