Tried out amasco fan just now at showroom. Fan is quite strong, with LED light too. I find sounds abit annoying when you press a button on the remote.

Wonder what are your reviews on this. Was told it's a 30year old sg brand. Motor made in Taiwan.

need some advice. i order a FFM 3000 fanco with lighting, without remote control . using my existing light point. Therefore there is only a switch point.

I was wondering how would i able to on/off the lighting or the ceiling fan with this switch pt?

Does anyone have any feedback on Fanztec Glide 2? Is it good? Looking for a ceiling fan with light (42” max). My friend has issues with his fanco ceiling fans and crestar fans have quite mixed reviews..

I was also trying to look for one with lights..hopefully around >20watt

So far I have shortlisted a few:

1) Bestar Sleek - 60" [Heard its a Singapore brand but made in China]
2) Aeroair AA-120 DC Ceiling Fan - 52" [This used to be called Amasco and made in Taiwan]
3) Eco Airz M-Series Delight - 56" [This I think is made in Singapore]

Have not heard much abt these too but I kind of like the design.

Wats the difference between AC and DC. N what is recoomended for which room/living.

DC fans consume less power but may cost more.
The choice of fans is very personal..

If you are on a budget, you may choose a fan purely on function and only expect it to last a few years.
Other brands don't look so nice but are simple and function for many years. Brands like KDK and it's sister brand, Panasonic get mentioned pretty often..

There are more stylo options around, some are cheap, others cost more and add extra functions.

Here's some info on choosing a fan:

Others combine aesthetics and are quiet as well as energy saving. The Haiku series belongs to these. You don't buy these purely for VFM, they look nice as well.
