Actually, the number of blades will it determines the speed? Like more blades ,the speed is good etc

Sent from Samsung SM-N975F using GAGT

Not speed, more than the amount of air being push. More blades = more weight = motor need to spin faster to get same rpm as with lesser blades. Material also affects the amt of air. ABS does not push wind as much as metal but is quieter than metal blades.

Any kdk u48fp user can comment the fan flow is strong and the light bright enough for kids to read?

Late reply, but if you're still interested... The important thing about this fan is getting it for the right sized room.

I have this in my living room ~15sqm and bedroom ~13sqm.

The light is bright enough for both rooms, but it is a cool light which has a lot of glare and is too harsh for a bedroom IMO.

The fan is excellent in my bedroom but struggles to circulate air in my living room. This could be due to the fact that my living room opens up to my kitchen from the back at dining room from the side.

The other thing I noticed with DC and AC fans- I have both types in my bedroom- the DC fans don't run at a consistent spped. After a while the speed gets throttled/regulated as compared to AC which runs at the same speed throughout operation.

Can anyone reccomend a fan for the smaller room in a 4room bto? We have the kdk one in the mbr. But the price have increased since and am thinking of going for perhaps fanco or some other brand.
Thank you!

How is it at max speed? Will it wobble? Mid speed gt decent wind if standing directly below it and at the side of the blades?

Don't wobble and the wind is strong. Personally I only turned on the 2nd speed out of the 5. I think alot depends on the person who install. I bought from a neighborhood shop and the in-house electrician installed it. There was some sound and I called Fanco because it's under warranty. The moment they came, they know what the issue is and fixed it. They were saying the electrician never install properly. Now it's so quiet and sturdy.

I was told B star is better because of some additional screws 4 vs 3 hence it's more secured. They got more complains on F Star than B Star. Not sure if its true though

High ceilings tend to cost more as they need to bring in the extra ladder to fit the height. More risk more cost.

Also, I am using a Crestar Airis 56 inch for the living room, no issues with it.

I think Crestar having promo for NinjaAir and ValueAir

hey guys! can i check with you, what size of fans did you opt for your living room and bedrooms?
i am thinking to go 52" for living room, and 46" for bedrooms (mine is 4 room bto).

i went to yafen yesterday and really liked their fans. their salesperson was saying that actually 42" is more than enough. he said for bigger size, it's more of the air dispersion.

would be great to hear your thoughts! thank you!

I got all 52-inch Fanco B-star for my living room + bedrooms, cos they were the same price as the smaller ones HAHAHA. and comes with tri colour light too. Mine is resale 4S, the room size should be very similar to BTO rooms.

How’s the wind? Also B-Star durable? What’s the differences with F-Star?
I see Fanco Google Reviews quite scary.

Was looking at KDK K15Z5-QEY (60” 5 Blades) and KDK K14ZW (56” 4 Blades). I also see people saying these two models, the PCB lifespan is short.

TIA.
