I mean the water seepage may affect my wiring/circuit box later blow up cause more đź’°

wet patch & small water droplets?

Usually, if the leak is dripping kind, it's small cracks in the waterproofing upstairs. It can be fixed by spraying 'nano water proofing' solution. I have done it DIY and for $80.

Just submitted through efeedback hope it can be settled quickly because the water seepage is near my circuit box I scare it will affect my wiring and chichaboom:crazy:

Kitchen ceiling? Maybe a blocked/leaking pipe. Wait hdb reply, they will go check. Don't attempt to patch, later hdb cannot see the leak. Patching by yourself might solve it temporary but might lead to bigger problem later.

HDB is only accepting hack & redo, or apply the solution I mentioned at in my last post , I was told by a HDB officer about this. It's expensive, out of blue and troublesome, gona be a long long long procedure if the parties can't agree.

it's not required to do waterproofing for kitchen floor

So, HDB can't help you when your ex neighbour love to soak the floor.

It's not expensive, long procedure yes. Happen to me once, upstairs neighbor caused their pipe to choke and flood. Hdb informed cost n say hdb 50%, both parties shared the rest. I told hdb i shouldn't be paying cos not my issue but after seeing not much I accepted. Other party took some time, but after I told hdb if the other party refused, I will sue. That speeds thing up.

Your case is technically not a leak bc it's a blocked water pipe?

So u did the nano spray to ur ceiling, or went upstairs to nano on ur neighbor floor?

I had this problem n it was told that the neighbor upstairs has to stop using the bathroom for few days as its hack n redo, and would cost my neighbor n us $300 each.

In the end, we didnt redo but just patch the crack. One plus years liao, the paint seems to be moist slightly n i think drip might came back after a few more years.

Simply approach HDB & TC, they will approach the upper unit neighbour

It could be ceiling or aircon leak

What has hack the floor to do with ceiling leaking?

It could be due to upper unit Pipe leak hence resulting to your ceiling leak or other factor

Like i mention, approach TC & HDB pertaining to the ceiling leak, they will come and retify and speak to the upper neighbour

As for payment, be it 50/50, they will inform you after retify

My shower water leaked downstairs so I applied it onto my toilet floor.

I will pay $300 to solve this problem tho, it's so cheap.

But for my time, HDB asked me to find a private contactor. The quotation for apply this nano thing is already 2k+
