How much SLS selling? Sure is Novo 7 advanced (there's an old standard version)? I doubt it doing free ads as all bros here getting from merimobiles, you are the 1st to mentioned SLS have stock.

Supplier I believe is the same as the IMM shop, since they were selling Novo8.

HDMI is common in China MID but not all works well like in the youtube vid. Especially when it's one 1st firmware. Also Novo 7 advanced has normal HDMI port not mini HDMI port.

But thanks for the offer, but I too have the mini HDMI cables from Atrix and my China media players:D

i cannot go ask, all of them know me.....u go popby and update us la...

they just came on the counter so should be new i guess.. by the way, the recent ainol booth in recent hk fair, so small, not even a full proper booth man......and their address in shenzhen is in long hua, 4 hours drive from shenzhen city... they look big on the webby though...

How tablets and processor works

Just to share....

How manufacturers works.

Usually manufacturers do not have R&D.

They buy the ready made mainboard with processor on it and gather other spare parts and assemble.

they depend very much on the firmware maker which usually are the agent who distribute the mainboard.

if the chip/processor maker has hdmi then it will work....but so far i know if it is shanghai processor informtic only does video but cannot see the interface or icons while others like samsung processor, telechip, amologic, etc do quite well but not VIA processor.

but again, do take note, android is an open source so do not assume that this version of android 2.3 will works the same as other android 2.3 ...but still ndroid 2.2 is more fun to play with as it is easier to root and can download apps that required roots access to run, eg. battery calibration., or overclocking..

*roots is also sometime know as jail break but the jailbreak we know of in iphone where you get free stuffs.. To layman, it means have full administrator right.

*another thing to note is the market that comes with it, it does not means latest version the market the better. you will often see "this program is not compatible with your device" in the new market version while older market is fine..

lol not so free go ask price of something I already bought online:D It's just good to know if I try liao good can intro ppl get, but that's if the price is good in sg. Else better buy online. I never really 100% trust booths in SLS/Funan, it feels like anytime can disappear. But that's just me.

It doesn't matter how they really are in fairs or where their company is at. As long as the product is good can liao:s13: Anyway, China tablets can varies in quality even if it's under a known brand.

So far Ainol has been well reviewed in android tablet forums, but the parts they use most of the time are lesser known brands. As long as it delievers what's expected, no one will really complain. Maybe except competitors or some die-hard fans of other brands:s8:

You should know better since u in this line. :s13:

It was mentioned before wopad v7 (VC882) factory price is only 399 RMB, retail around 600 RMB (IIRC). Wonder if it'll dropped to 500 RMB next Feb, thinking of grabbing one when I'm there:D

I love China tablets! 19 Oct 2011 will be the day Ice Cream Sandwich is out... hopefully the Chinese can provide ICS upgrade to our tablets! =:p

I'm getting old and the 7" screen is really making me dizzy. Though portable, I can't continue using it for long. You guys should really consider bigger tablets! :D

I'm gonna use the A500 at home, since 10" kinda troublesome after a while. 7" will be great for overseas trips, especially those short ones:D
