Onda Vi40 Elite available already? One shop online taking orders but I am asking if they have stock or just pre-order.

lol just read Vi40 Elite on Taobao pre-order counts is over 900 and close to 1k. Release date was said to be 15 days later on 25/26th. 2 days ago I think some changed to 20 days later.

It's either Vi40E will have a big community with 1st batch or we'll see the 1st tablet mass returns in 2012:eek: In any case Teclast needs to make Vi40E successful:s12:

I purchased already. Damage: $212 without counting delivery charges yet.

Momo11 seems a bit like ipad in size and screen. Hope its good.

Luckily i resist the urge to buy ipad that time by going to google and type 'why you should not buy an ipad' :s13:

The screen protector of ipad 1 and case should work :) The length is longer by 2mm i think. Thickness is lesser by 1mm :)

See this review to drool 1st bah lol
Momo11 9.7

Edit: I rewatched the Momo11 vids again. The screen might be the same as Teclast A10, same warm cast and brightness is unlike that of other IPS screen. The LCD cable looks similar also.

NO~~~~ lol look at Allwinner A10 tablet lah. Mine is no choice I need to collect those qipaos at sgshop (<1kg & momo11 is slightly >1kg, want to combine), that's why ordered Momo11 to play then maybe give my MIL.

Edit: Or try the new Amlogic M3 chipset tablet lol

If got 499 RMB one I may order one to play also.

lol I didn't recall putting a link on youtube to here^^; Those videos are taken from China streaming sites for easier sharing to the bros here:D

Novo7 Aavanced was supposed to end production last month, but the International sales was so good that Ainol made another 1000 sets earlier this month. Not sure if the 1000 were sold yet.

The reason is Ainol has plans to expand its Novo7 series for Q1 of 2012. On slatedroid someone mentioned that there'll be a IPS screen Novo7 out on 5th Jan. He mentioned the source came somewhere on Merimobiles. So it's still a rumors, as the earlier rumors was that the new Novo7 tablets will be in around Feb 2012.
Ainol Novo 7 Super IPS screen

Gemei G2 is the 1st 7" 1GB RAM Allwinner A10 tablet I know of. 1GB RAM does seems to improve the performance of Allwinner A10. However it has a shortcoming similar to P76Ti, and that is the 3200mAh battery. The actual usage might be too little. which is about 3.5-4.5hrs.

P76Ti is one of the hot Allwinner A10 favourites in China. It's along side with Onda Vx610W. The reason is mainly due to their cheap price, which is 499 RMB. Onda Vx610W lacks HDMI though.

As for Xburst (Novo7P and Novo7B) I would avoid till they improve the apps compatibility. Allwinner A10 is a better choice due to it's video capabilities, but it's not the best choice. Especially so with newer dual-core tablets coming out in Q1 of 2012;)

LY-F1 is from the same company who makes GTPad, which is LYXZ. I think it's more like a Shanzhai company. It's supposed to have ICS firmware update later. Problem with smaller China tablet company is always the support they give.

Based on your write out I believe you had done some research. You should be able to make a good decision on which tablet is best for u :) I'm not sure how tech savvy you are, but do consider in the online community support too.

The problem with China tablets is most users are Chinese, you can't get community support unless you buy the tablets most International users go for. But if you are tech savvy, the problems you faced on China tablets could be fun to tackle with:D

Currently Allwinner A10 tablets with good online community is Novo7A, then Momo9c (with it's clones), then Onda Vi series. Currently I'm more geared up towards the upcoming 999 RMB 9.7" IPS screen tablets, which is Onda Vi40 Elite and Bmorn V99 deluxe/plus. These are Allwinner A10 & 1GB RAM with 9.7" IPS screen. I find them to be best value for me in Q1 of 2012:D

That's unless SmartQ Ten3 decides to join the 999 or 1299 price, then it'll be the best value tablet for me=:p

Good luck getting your tablet.
Thank you, that is lot of useful information! After some more searching and reading on the internet yesterday I came across some sites with info on the new Novo7 releases as well (one of them I liked: Android Tablet Comparison World - Sorted by: Launch Date ), didn't know however that the Advanced-version was meant to end already, but now it makes sense why it is so difficult to get a hold of. :p But it does bring high hopes for Q1, an IPS screen or just one with the 1024x600 resolution.

Currently I happily use my Archos G8 101IT, which I bought over a year ago and then really was great, especially having a kickstand and a full sized USB-port. But... there's not really a future for this tablet, even if they manage to port ICS succesfully with no restrictions. It's a bit sluggish and when you see these 7" tablets running ICS, 3D games and playing Full HD movies, almost effortlessly, how can you not get excited over that at such a cheap price! Just to play around with a little bit.

You're right about the batterylife though. I like my tablet so much because I can practically pick it up from the charger in the morning, being away from home all day, using it for different kind of stuff and then it easily lasts till I get home in the evening to connect it to its charger.

The LY-F1 certainly looked okay, as do the the other onces, but maybe it is just too early to make a call, lets see what the beginning of 2012 brings first maybe.

Unfortunately I'm not much of a technician, so opening my tablet and soldering around is out of the question. Bought a TI Launchpad devkit once to hack my #808 Keychain spycam, because I thought I could hack it thru USB. When I found out you actually had to solder I gave up, haha. :D But I've managed to root 'n install ROMS on multiple devices ranging from Windows/Android-smartphones to Android/WebOS-tablets, that shouldn't be the problem. But like you said, you got to have people willing to develop some international support for it.

The momo's look nice, but it's more like a tablet for main use which requires a bit more investment than these current A10 7" tabs. I managed to get a fairly cheap HP Touchpad, which also was 9,7", but I don't like the format. For example my Archos 101 is perfect for multimedia, because of the ratio. Movies almost show now black bars, series even none! Somehow I find it more convenient. I don't know if I like 7" tablets in use, but I am eager to find out. I also have to read .pdf's for work, because it's much easier to work with than a thick paper manual. A 7" is more portable than a 10,1" one, so I can see how that would be great to carry around.

And you were right, there was no link, but I searched for videos of the 'Gemei G2' and found the seasoncrystal-YouTube-channel. Then this site was a Google-search away. That's how I found this place. Which I like, you guys really share some good info!

Thanks again, I think I will wait to see what happens next. I probably end up buying a Transformer Prime and maybe have a cheap 7" ICS capable tablet around as well.

For those bro wants a cheap 3G 7" can look at those display/refurb Dell streak 7 (T-mobile) selling in Taobao. 1199 RMB for locked and 1399 RMB for unlock.

Dell streak specs not hard to find if u google. But in short it's a Tegra2 with HC and the screen is about that of normal China tablets.:s8:

edit: IIRC, US has some sold around this price during the black friday sales, but it ran out of stock pretty fast^^;

Bmorn V11 is a A10 with 1G ram in a 7: with 16G size.
Momo11 is a Rockchip RK2918, 1G Ram, 1024 x 768px, Battery 6000MAh.

had all mess up in my mind (with the "11")
momo 11 appealing part is the batt life(6000Mah) with the Hi res screen.

only thing is its 6500mah battery. mostly of the 9.7 IPS tablet has a 8000mah

Not really all the newer models at 999 RMB are 6000 to 6500mah Vi40E, V99, A10, Momo11, Gemei G9 should be also. The older ones priced at 1499 RMB are the ones with 7600-8000 mah.

400-500 more RMB for 2000mah and brighter IPS screen don't think it's worth. But that's how electronics are, newer things will get cheaper once mass produced:s13:

Those who are into cheap & good build 499 RMB tablet should look at Window N12 Deluxe (NOT N12/N12R/N12C). 4500 mAh battery, my guess is it has about 10-12hrs of video play with wifi off:eek:

N12 Deluxe disassembly

If only this is an Allwinner A10 tablet. 4500 mAh is wasted on RK2918 with bad standby.. But if you off it and on when u need, then this is a powerhouse :)

Those who just want a cheap android tablet to play with, should consider this:)

edit: oh ya like N90, it'll get ICS :)

edit: Actual daily usage is about 8+hrs (online streaming, gaming, surfing)
