Hi all,

I’m going to Chiangmai in Feb.
So have been thinking
18 Feb will land around 11am
-> own walking tour (museum/temple like wat Chiang man, wat hua kuang and eg )

19 Feb -> ???? Unknown.

20 Feb -> 2D1N tour (elephant sanctuary, bamboo rafting, Long neck women village ) stay in chiang dao

21 feb-> waterfall, temple, tiger kingdom/ orchid farm
And back to airport.

Any suggestion for 19?

Doi Suthep / Doi Inthanon..If you'r into Japan thingy, visit Hinoki Land(abt 1hr more from Chiang Dao)

interesting, haven't been for a long long time. Now its too far for me, need to wait a while more

i love flower farm, mon cham, pongyang zipline, huay tung tao lake.
Pm me if you need a driver.

Another great place to chill and relax and take pics is at jungle de cafe @ baan tawai Hang dong,just open a few mth ago.

chiang mai flower festival : 7 - 9 Feb 2020.


The main events will take place at Nong Buak Haad Park and Thapae Gate over the three days from 9 a.m. to midnight.

7pm on Friday: Opening ceremony of the Flower Festival at Thapae Gate
8pm-11pm on Friday: Miss Flower Blooming Beauty Contests at Nong Buak Haad Park
8am on Saturday: A parade of more than 25 flower floats starts from Nawarat bridge. The parade will go along Thapae road, Kotchasarn road, Changlor road, Arak road and ends at Nong Buak Haad Park
7pm to 11pm on Saturday: Thai Lanna Performance on stage at Statues of Kings Mengrai
7pm on Saturday: Presentation of awards for The Flower Festival Parade at Thapae Gate
Friday to Sunday: Music performances at Thapae Gate
Friday to Sunday: Orchestra performance in the garden at Nong Buak Haad Park from 4pm-6pm

Maybe can try squeeze in a trip to Pai/ Chiang Rai? I been to both and they are really beautiful. In fact, I like them both more than Chiang Mai

Ard Oct -Nov is a good time - without all the tourists
Ah..... N the weather is not bad right? If that's the case maybe I can put going to chiang mai during that period....

But I wonder take plane direct better or the 13hra train from bkk? Kinda enjoy the train ride to hua hin previously
