I really like this bank. 2 years back when they cut interest, I straight away apply for GE SP that closed that same day. Because from my past experience, this bank cut interest rate slower than others. If even they must cut means the environment is really bad.

I missed out the investment needed. then really no point.

But If getting FS acct for the interest should just get the CC since just having the CC is 0.7% more for 1st 10K. Since there is no annual fee at all for it just to get $5.8 a month

Yes, you need to receive the Activation Code from CIMB to register your internet banking account.

I open online yesterday...received email that it will be processed within day..but no news today..

Have you transfer the $1,000 to activate your account? One can wait around 2 to 3 weeks to receive the Activation Code after account activation.

I tried to install the CIMBClick app and used my old ID and password, voila, I can log in, and I can see my fastsaver account..but it's the same number as the one that I closed 2 years ago during the musical chair.. is this normal ? cos I havent receive any email that my account is ready...
