Not sure if anyone replied you on this but i won't be posting the excel here, just the general breakdown you can use if you want the entire picture.Anyone has spreadsheet or formula to calculate the Interest and Bonus Interest in fastsaver account for the promo Jan-March 2025? Given how CIMB handle the PayDay promo, there are doubts if they actually honor the promised Interest for their promos
Do take note that due to CIMB playing a small trick in the TnC depending on your promo month, the bonus calculation could be slightly off. You can refer to my old post on this - https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/cimb-fastsaver.5176026/post-154909274
Take note of the tier interest before you start your excel
Assuming 60K, this is to consider all the tiers.
Assuming Dec 2024 promo, cause i am lazy and just reusing what i have.
T1 base is 1.19%, T1 Bonus is 2.01%
T2 base is 2.19%, T2 Bonus is 1.01%
T3 base is 3.3% (BUT PROMO IS ONLY 3.2% FLAT!)
This is only per month.
| A | B | C | D | E | F | G |
| Day | Balance | T1 Base | T1 Bonus | T2 Base | T2 Bonus | T3 Base |
In A - Day of the month
in B - 60K
in C - (25000*1.19%)/365
in D - (25000*2.01%)/365
in E - 25000*2.19%/365
in F - 25000*1.01%/365
in G - (B3-50000)*3.3%/365
| A | B | C | D | E | F | G |
| Day | Balance | T1 Base | T1 Bonus | T2 Base | T2 Bonus | T3 Base |
1 | 60000 | 0.8150685 | 1.3767123 | 1.5 | 0.691781 | 0.90411 |
2 | 60000 | 0.8150685 | 1.3767123 | 1.5 | 0.691781 | 0.90411 |
So once you drag till 28 or 30 or 31 days, just add the base together, then add the bonus together.
If you slot in your own amount and promo %, your base will tally (tho with some slight differences). The only problem will be the bonus as mentioned above
