My June bill arrived.
I was charged $29.00 + $9.35 (pro-rated 22May-31May) - $20.00 (migration waiver) - $6.45 (migration waiver pro-rated 22May-31May) = $10.27 instead of my usual $5.05.

I contacted CSO & got "$10 waivers for the next 3 months" instead of the promised $20x2, not sure if this is true, need to see next 3 bills to confirm. If that's true, my bill will be $9/month with $30 bill credits.
That means effectively I can enjoy $5.05/mth for 6 months then the waivers will run out and I'll start paying $9/mth from the 7th month.

I'll consider changing telco when I start paying $9/mth. Hopefully there are still many cheap plans then. Maybe need to switch back to prepaid again.

Sorry if I sound stingy, but in reality I barely use 1GB data/month and I'm just a low-income foreigner.

I better keep close watch on my bill too..
got 1 $0 plan and 1 $5 plan..

My dad's plan still on $0 plan. But it is just matter of time that his plan will transit to paid plan.

Meanwhile, my mother got billed $6.61 which I have already footed the bill.

No point go dispute as we have enjoyed their free services for 6 years. No business will allow you tap onto their resources for free forever. Enjoy free services while it lasts.

Since my mother's plan was transited to the 20GB plan for $5, i will just pay the subscription monthly. $5/mth will not make me or Circles rich. Afterall, there is no other better plans that offer $5/mth.

(PS: SIMBA's VoLTE does not work on my mom's iPhone 7+. So, remain with Circles will be a wise choice though)

i put this $0 sim card into an old iphone many years ago and have not been using it at all.

there is no active credit/debit card linked to it. so i guess i can't even be charged anything if any.

should i bother to check or cancel? honestly don't care if they terminate my plan

How come they cannot just terminate the plan?

Terminate via live chat doesn't work. Was told to call in instead

Termination will be last day of the month with NO charges involved

Email reply will probably take 3 working days to hear from them. Give them a all is faster but I had a hard time trying to understand their accent.

Ignoring them is not advisable as it may affect your telco credit worthiness.

On Sunday I called Circle's CSO and requested termination. She agreed and said a confirmation email will be sent. But until today, nothing has been sent. Is this normal?

May i know does anyone get updates after submitting IMDA feedback form? I asked to keep to my $5 plan they upgraded me to $9 plan ($29 plan with $20 waiver). When i asked for more clarification, another staff said will upgrade me to another $10 plan after waiver. I asked for more details, no reply on that but keep saying will activate on 1st july. What should i do now? 😭

Yes, but need time for IMDA to get back to you, most of the time, either issue is resolved or you cannot be bothered. lol
So just find better deals and port out or deactivate the line, less hassle.
IMDA has no bite anyways, they will just respond that they have escalated to telco for them to look into it and get back to you. 🤡

I want to port out to eight but they dont accept any port-in yet. Want to terminate but have to contact many about changing of number, very troublesome 😪 are there better deals out there for port-in?
