We made several attempts to deduct the payment of at least one of your unpaid bills for your mobile number 8749xxxx on the credit / debit card we have on file. Unfortunately, the last payment deduction attempt didn't go through.

You have reached an outstanding total of $10.98.
Your line is at risk of suspension. Please settle all your outstanding bills now.

If any of your bills has a pending payment of 3 months or more, we will pass this case to a debt collection agency. Please note that this might lead to legal action, impacting your general credit standing.

i reply them..

i sign up $0 plan forever..u guys want to change plan and discontinue this $0 should terminate the line..not auto charge without my consent!!!so if auto change to $1000 per month i also have to pay ?!?!? even without our consent ?

To better secure our customers’ accounts, we have implemented a new security authentication feature called “SecureMe”. This feature requires users to call in and verify their identity before completing certain transactions, such as a port-out.
Customers can disable the “SecureMe” feature after verifying their identity with our Customer Happiness agent via call at +65 8808 6868 (operating hours: 9am - 6pm, Monday to Sunday). Our agents will assist you. Following that, you can redo the port-out with the new telco again.

Got this reply from customer service forcing payment even though I ask to cancel line repeatedly

Kindly note that in order to arrange the termination of your line, you must fulfill the following requirements:

Completed at least 2 billing cycles
No outstanding bills

If there is an outstanding bill that needs to be addressed, it must be settled prior to scheduling the termination of your line.

After making the payment, please contact them at +65 8808 6868, and they will be happy to assist you with your termination request

Talk to customer service until they hung up the phone on me.

Super unethical telco

Wahh this sounds serious. I never heard of Telco passing our data to debt collection agency for such small amount
Though cs given me the waival approval telling me I no need to do anything, I still have the red glaring outstanding amount there and still receiving email and sms chase for payment. It seems like they'll keep auto test deduct as and when their system pleases. 1st time see such disorganized Telco. Shake head.

Wow... this is something new. So now we have to call +65 8808 6868 before porting out?

I kindof regret when last month i chat them and the cs offer to cancel for me but i was holding on for their 4 months free offer that cs offered to me, but somehow didn't follow through i supposed. Now instead of getting the promised 4 months free, i gotten a $9+ bill and reminders to pay up, felt so silly. It's such a mess.

This company is very unethical. I ported out 2 lines. My own line having no issue and my partner line is being blocked from porting out when receiving SMS to verify the identity. So I asked her to proceed with the verification and managed to port out on the 1 November 2024. I not sure if they will charge additional billing cycle.

After reading this thread and this "secureme" thingy is creating issues. While mine was not turned on by default, my partner line was turned on by default. It was not made known that this is a "feature" activated by them without our knowledge. It is obviously done it on purpose to prevent ppl from porting out. It just doesn't make sense when the other telco requested for port in has already done their own due diligence.

For those want to port out please do it early.

why charge $29? then give $24 discount? then make a mess of the billings?

$29 for 20GB is way off market rates. when other mnvo are giving 200GB for $8-10

something is fishy, this smells of bait and switch

I will stay away from them even if it's free
Indeed, Circle Life is paving ways to give itself a leeway to charge its customers in future.

Turn off SecureMe option in the app and try to port out should be fine.

If I'm still on zero plan and try to port out, will there be termination fee?

Saw t&c on website that need to complete 2 billing cycles then can terminate. Meaning need to pay 2 months of bills before we will be allowed to port out/terminate?
