last wed went to Bukit Merah C C register replacement flat, many neighbour asked me why i came ? i still need to submit then SERS will post me to Clementi...feel sad to say bye bye to redhill...
After living in redhill for so many yrs, u sure to feel sad to leave the place. 20+ yrs ago, I was staying at Commonwealth, I stayed Commonwealth for 28 yrs. Now sometimes occassionally, I still go back to my old old place to look at my old old hse (hse dun belong to me long time ago, but the floor tiles, window wall side tiles which was done by late father and the metal gate still remains). I recalled the past days while standing on the common corridor outside the flat. So much changes to the old old flat, 1 extra room was built at the kitchen, the grass field in front of the flat was now cemented. The lift goes to all levels. They are so much changes to the enviorment. Times ready flies. Hai
Look like HDB is slowing down in building the replacement flats. I notice my old flat (Clementi) the area is fenced up, window and aircon all removed. The temp bus interchange partially removed.
