the pay is RANK PAY + COMBAT/RISK ALLOWANCE.

for commando combat/risk allowance is 300 bucks.

$300 is combat + risk pay. Total is $790, which is wad i receive as a cpl. Our sgts r over $1000, nt sure exactly hw much.

SGT pay now is $760 right so + 300 is 1060 lo. SGTs these days good liao, my time was still the 560 pay...

i heard that while training to be cdo (finished bmt), you will get ur basic service pay ($490) + allowance or something (forget what its called), however you cannot take this allowance. When you pop as red beret, they will 1 shot give you all the locked money?

Wah anyway for the amount of pay you get, you do more **** than the equivalent rank of your pay in another infantry unit.. though you are expose to more operations and have to do more standby duties which is bye bye weekends!

Haha i not sure paisei, the pay rise was after i left so i can only confirm my time was 560

CPL pay used to be 420 in the past so 300 extra allowance would be 720 so its still within the range your friend got.

The new increase was like only about 3 yrs ago. You expect pay rise to happen alot? That pay rise was also more for 3SGs by increasing their pay more while the other ranks only had little pay increment. Purpose of the pay rise was to reflect the work that specs are actually doing.

I said I DOUBT recruits will get the 300 bucks. But after BCT (BMT) you should get the 300 bucks on top of your rank pay

u all know how to get promoted to lousiest sergeant (3sg)? only after red beret? so look at your red beret performance?
