BLMG L-SHAPED DESK REVIEW
This is going to be a honest review on what i feel about the table.
Firstly, please do pardon me for my unkempt table setup.
Well, I love wood.
1. The table arrived in a huge box and its rather heavy. I wasn't home but I heard from my mum that the delivery man will help bring it in.
2. Set up was rather foolproof, they come with instruction sheets and labelled screws. Basically, 1 screw for securing the metal frame to the wood and wood to wood etc. 3 or 4 (should be 3) different types of screws. (i mixed up one of them and have to redo).
3. Worksmanship was not perfect and sometimes you have to do the left and right side of screwing the screws into holes simultaneously if not there will be a little gap. (ps i abit ocd about such stuff)
4. It is better to have an assistant or someone to help you to just hold while you tighten the screws as it is quite taxing.
5. Be wary when you do it as things are heavy and may drop and injure yourself.
6. After assembly, the middle piece (with the curved area) was not as steady or firm in my opinion. However my mum assured me that it can handle a fair bit of load (never even say 10kg or 20kg or whatsoever). I clarified with the seller and it isn't really very clear also. Hence, I decided to put my monitor with a "monitor stand". It will maximize the area span and so called stabilize the table.
7. Till date, I think I have it for 2 months alr, nothing is damaged. Do take note, if you use a large mouse mat like me. And if your pc chassis is on the right, same as me. Do note that the black strips on the table which is the metal frame will affect your mouse.
8. For the price, it is worth it I guess but do buy at your own discretion. This is just my two cents for something from Qoo10.
HOWEVER THE MONITOR STAND I BOUGHT IS STURDY AND GOOD.
