Don't look like confusion with flipping flaps or landing gear switches since it is designed differently. Looks like did it on purpose or BOEING avionics or software again automatically override the switches.

The design of the switch prevents an accidental bump from moving it from run to cutoff
Deliberate action needed.

At such low altitude is tantamount to xxxxxx as the plane cannot recover but crash.

No sane pilot would cutoff fuel at such low altitude.

no sane pilot would do that yes.
mechanically, there is nothing stopping anyone to do that

Why when the plane is at a stage where it’s taking off, onboard computer knows that it should be taking off, allow the fuel to be cutoff instead of not allowing it to?

When you’re driving a car in D mode, even though you purposely or accidentally put it to R mode, would it reverse?

Manual maybe can try clutch in, forcefully shift then release clutch la but Auto?

Nah.
The switch was changed from run to cutoff, recorded by the black box and confirmed by voice recorded.

Pilot kumgong go cut the fuel VS the plane ownself cut the fuel

Didn't do a thorough job in the programming or defining the interlocks for fuel cut off.

During take off, this should be disabled, or a secondary acknowledgement before it really gets enabled.

Human error? More like incompetence.

An error is where given a situation, you made a decision that is wrong on a hindsight

Incompetence is when you do not know what or how. which is what happened in this incident, a switch requires deliberation to activate, was activated by a person who does not know what it does

Of course one can deliberately move the switch, but in response to an emergency at such low altitude?
Thmy response is your remark "always allowed in emergency" is incorrect. It's not allowed at low altitude.
