as a driver, when approaching zebra crossings, I always slow down and look out for speeding cyclists.

i drive and ride. i slow down regardless if i'm inside a car or on a bicycle. it's just safety and respect for other road users

U want racial or wat kinda profiling? Racial is easiest as majority of these spandex cyclists are Chinese.

Definition of Walking pace - can be grey…..He walks fast, i walks slow… Sometimes i walk fast and sometimes i walk very slow..or very fast….

If there is no other road users beside, only me crossing… then how? Where is the yardstick?

the better way is to stop, wait for car to stop, then walk across.

as much as the car should slow down
the cyclist should as well

the car braked well in the end
so no real fault as the car was careful in its own rights
the cyclist wasn't cautious enough, self entitled too.

Cyclist can just zip across without even slowing down or checking for oncoming traffic?

They should bring back the dismount rule to stop all these self-harm antics, any pedestrian suddenly chiong across zebra crossing thinking the car must die die stop and he/she can avoid accident/injury must be dreaming.

Why not, slow down, value own life, check first then go across rather than expect everything rosy and dandy?

Bloody cyclists. Zebra crossing also should slow down or stop to check if vehicles are stopping for them what. You don't just cycle at high speed thinking that drivers can see you when you are way outside their viewing angle then out of sudden appear in front of the vehicle.

regardless of who has the right of way, cyclist might not be so lucky next time, he could be injured and still right, so?

This cyclist is those typical guailan troublemakers. Purposely wear mask so face cannot be identified, then deliberately heck care chiong zebra crossing knowing that cars will jam brake and horn and then take opportunity to confront and stir trouble. All just to make himself superior than others but hiding behind a mask.

LOL its actually all the typical traits of LOSERs resorting to antisocial behaviours to prove themselves.

I read in USA, the cyclists won’t do that cos one siaolang driver can just come out with gun and shoot the cyclist dead.

In UK I heard from a friend the driver come out, throw the bike into the drain. The cyclist call the police and the police just came and laugh at the cyclist. Obviously in this case, no accident happened but one cyclist tried to show superiority by blocking the car.

The driver somehow forgot that he must slow down at the zebra. Driver already saw the cyclist, but he ignored and ngeh ngeh wanted to go ahead of the cyclist. Therefore the cyclist was very angry. He had the right of way. The car should slow and stop.

From the video cyclist already at wrong. He should not ride across the zebra, instead he should push the bicycle across.

It already an offense, but happen at the area. Hope he got cert to prove, he not well at the point of time
