He say he already saw the cam car coming and didn’t look like cam car going to stop yet he still took the risk and attempted to cross. Also, didn’t look like he tried to brake at all.

Both contributed imo, Cyclist no sign of slowing down, the car thought he can zip past before he has to stop.

Not driver fault

driver is already very close already when cyclist is still crossing the other road and later too late to zip past.

If driver didn’t slow down, cyclist will be under the wheels already.

Description from the cyclist in the latest video

Cyclist threw his bike to block traffic, and stood into driver's personal space and keep pointing his finger so close to driver's face.

Cyclist said driver muted because he horned and yelled knn - that is prolly the reason why cyclist decided to act like gangster.

Cyclist ownself admitted he tried braking but couldn't brake in time - means he was neither riding slow nor looking out ahead when approaching the slip road.

Really can get stupid riding under hot sun to decided to make a post to implicate ownself.

If driver didn’t slow down, cyclist will be under the wheels already.

And why is he very close? He was supposed to be BEHIND the line, look at where his car is during the argument, already cross the line liao.

You can tell he was unwilling to slow down until the very last min where he finally knew he cannot clear the crossing without hitting the cyclist, if not is all system go liao.

That takes nothing away from the cyclist anyway, he too should have slow down and made sure he's able to pass safely before zipping like that too.

Last time traffic law, cyclist must dismount bicycle when crossing junctions simply because pedestrians are much slower compared to a bicycle and drivers and/or pedestrians have more time to react. Nowadays laws changed, no need to dismount. The way the cyclist rode across the other junction and want to faster dash across zebra crossing, many drivers won't be able to react so fast. Ego and kiasuism at work. Must die die go first and cannot let people horn even when in the wrong.
