Ever saw a boomer uncle ride across a busy junction along AMK ave 6 diagonally like bloody shibuya crossing and didn't care whether red or green, and also never looked for traffic ... just facing forwards and cycle. Don't know whether still alive now.

Unfortunately getting more common. I see ppl on pmd/ebike do this diagonal dash more and more

Some of these cyclists think they are invincible and dash across the road, drivers need to look out for them.

On covered walkways, they horned at pedestrians, expect you to give way to them, especially near crowded bus stops..

They are like the king of the roads..and footpath.

I dislike cyclists who speed on pedestrians path.. there’s no monitoring and policing of speeding cyclists though rules are there. Well end up like other countries where such practices become embedded into our culture

This is accurate, cyclist should also slow down a bit and pref ring in advance instead of right behind them, they can be startled and jump into your path etc.

There are electronic bells one can buy for cheap and sounds pretty loud so peds should have no reason to say they cannot hear them, so long as the bell is rung in advance.

Most of them are entitled locals, followed by jhk and tiong. They will keep ringing their bells furiously. Must make way for them. Banglas are more polite. They wait for you to move one side before cycling pass you.

I usually ring it 5-8 bike distances ahead and approach in 10-20 secs cos elderly eg my mom says when I walk I scared her (how much more if I cycle near someone as old n blur as her ?)

I can cycle on road but when it is turning eg 4 directions cross junction, I follow but somehow cars not horn as they r theee but I perceive I don’t follow road lta rules or road theory. So while technically I can physically go on road, I’m preventing a car from using his full speed and they begrudge it because they pay road tax and I don’t
