Most of them are entitled locals, followed by jhk and tiong. They will keep ringing their bells furiously. Must make way for them. Banglas are more polite. They wait for you to move one side before cycling pass you.

I usually slower than bangla so usually if me n foreigner we two snail behind a group of people until a delivery man come n horn all of us

I notice those that like to keep ringing is the PRC.

I haven’t met such people but I do see worse ppl i met cutting q and rude prc while Indian Bangladeshi workmen r nicest (I cycled n worked w them in construction yard na )

But I asked my pro cycling friend , he said must ring the bell. Other ppl no eyes on backside no bell they don’t know u approaching v unsafe so Have to sound bell na

like that i must always use car horn, cos cyclist wearing spandex, backside no eyes. they don’t know car approaching, so must horn lor. the longer the horn the better.

Cyclists on the road should occasionally peek back once in a while just as a form of awareness. Of cos one can argue some cyclists no license yada so dunno but the fundamental logic behind this is already taught at age 5-6 when children are learning how to look left and right when they cross the road.

Its ok to defend yourself if you need to. If you see a bicycle coming at you straight, what do you do? Tbh, I would stretch out my leg, if he falls, he falls.

The worst is those T junction/lift lobby with blind spots when suddenly a cyclist can zoom past without checking for pedestrians...younger people may react faster but not for old folks...now I always alert when walking along these areas...

Agree, I a hearing impaired on both ears. Only wearing one hearing aid with minimum effect. I am always at risk while walking even with walking stick in public road, foot paths, etc. Some of them shouted at me to hearing their ringing, when they turned around to look at me, I show them that I am not able to hear and my walking stick (not my middle ________)

Even ring the friendly bell also no use…as some pedestrians wear earphones, play loud music.

So just wait behind them, overtake only when it is safe…

Usually i put a loose bell to sound by itself. So its every sec ringing when bicycle moving.

Then pedestrians can hear the sound coming, so will siam or walk by the side.

I can cycle on road but when it is turning eg 4 directions cross junction, I follow but somehow cars not horn as they r theee but I perceive I don’t follow road lta rules or road theory. So while technically I can physically go on road, I’m preventing a car from using his full speed and they begrudge it because they pay road tax and I don’t

Irritating bells and high beam blinding lights at night. You literally cannot see them. Old people cannot move fast enough to get out of the way.

Why do they need to over take? They must be faster than the pedestrian? They want faster go cycle on the road and let car over take or crush them. This they know.
