They need to lose seats to keep them grounded and true to the original mission
They will go and sell 50 cent kopi, still party during the functions and return in 2030.
They are all walking on air so their feet will never touch the ground.

So the person trying to jiak his meal with kid is also false?

Seems like the volunteer is telling Edwin got someone taking video. But because is public area it's fine. Anyway, it seems the ahpek could be showing bird to his friend instead but still funny to see. . . . . .also, how much did the OP earn from that post? :s22:

Many residents living in East Coast / Marine parade like ET. These are the rich people districts.
Nonetheless, WP will have a good fight if they can present solid candidates over there. So far only the Senior Counsel looked solid but one person is not good enough.

I think otherwise

Marine Parade was propped up by ex speaker TCJ. He was the anchor for Marine Parade. Without him, the GRC could have been lost.

This round, no more TCJ. That's why now need to dice and slice to bring in TPL

Commentary: 10 years after Lee Kuan Yew’s death, have Singaporeans abandoned his staunch belief of Singapore’s vulnerability?

After Lee Kuan Yew's death in 2015, the vulnerability narrative has lost its appeal among Singaporeans today, especially among the young, says veteran newspaper editor Han Fook Kwang.

A fairly sensible article by Han Fook Kwang.

Reality is, we are vulnerable to a lack of transparency and accountability. When we can't afford to hire enough local police and paramedics. When it's only a minority serving NS to protect the majority who don't - females and new citizens. When we need to have sex in small spaces and change careers four, five, six times.

Government has more reserves than it has ever had. More laws like POFMA to police speech and more resources poured into media and advertising than ever. The government is not vulnerable.

Our society, social compact, Singaporeans are more vulnerable than ever.

He is like that one person who claims credit for everything that is being done, got bus stop, I feedback then got deh, got shopping mall, I initiated the idea etc etc...
GMS can only win the votes of hardcore opposition voters, his post and antics on social media and blogs really scare off swing voters

Precisely. If opposition really wants to take on PAP, it has to be WP or PSP, the rest will be defeated miserably.

After decades, opposition still refuses to see the reality, and keeps trying for nothing. Just let PAP walk over if there is no strong opposition party contesting. Given limited opposition resources, opposition should only concentrate on places that they might stand a chance. And most importantly, avoid 3 or more corner fight, this is the fundamental mistake that opposition is making in the past decades.
WP and PSP middle ground stand, regular groundwork and experience in operating town councils appeal better to swing voters than other parties that only appear 2 or 3 months before elections to 零时抱佛脚

Smaller parties will generally avoid three-cornered fights against major opposition parties like WP, PSP, and SDP once these larger parties announce their contested constituencies. This is because failing to secure at least 12.5% of the votes would result in the forfeiture of their nomination deposit, leading to a waste of election funds during the contest.
