As others have pointed out, SCB is priority banking. I applied for it in 2016. This was my experience, don't know how come your T&C so different.

In order to qualify, you just need $200k AUM INCLUDING stocks/shares purchased using online trading or transferred in from CDP.
There is no lock in period, but you need to keep the average AUM above $200k. (RM said that a few months drop below $200k, doesn't matter, but if more than 6 months they may review)
SCB Priority Banking VI, as Sgdividends pointed out, it is blue colour and not grey colour. I've not been charged subscription yet (some say they will minus your points to pay subscription, so just make your you use up your points).
No welcome gift.
They never asked me for assets info.

I’m on household recognition with a PB VI card with 4 visits (can be 24 if your AUM is >200k). No annual fees paid and even got the $100 cash credit under the new promo. Just had to do a 10k FD.

Basically if joint account has 200k, all household recognition members would get 24 PP visits.

If main account (with joint members) has 199k and 1k in stocks, joint account holders have no other AUM except the joint account, only main account holder will get 24 visits.

What's the difference between joint account and main acccount with joint members?

Hi,

New member to HWZ. I have a Citi Priority and I am looking to move to Citigold to get the 800 welcome gift. The TnC indicates I wont be eligible for the gift as I am an existing customer. Any experiences with this? Can I have my wife open an account and get this instead?

You can intro your wife, then u can get the referral fee, while your wife gets the welcome gift + anniversary gift

existing clients not eligible for such gifts, and as far as I know, Citi unlikely to make exceptions

Thank you! Was considering HSBC premier at first, but their bonus interest is only for 3 months, after which I guess it goes back to 0.1%. Currently debating between Citigold and SCB Priority.

HSBC promo has been ongoing. Many here play musical chairs every 3 months with it.

CitiGold is best for just 3 mths for welcome gift

But I thought u have to maintain the Citigold account for atleast 6 months otherwise you pay an account closure fee? Same for HSBC I think?

I just found out abt citigold ...
considering the welcome gift and bonus interests, does citigold or HSBC Premier has better offer ?

according to this page:
https://www.citibank.com.sg/global_docs/pdf/CG-wc-promo2.pdf
Based on 250K, Citigold offering $800 base reward and $1000 Anniversary, total to receive is $1800.. am i right?

it seems we have to maintain the 250k in the CTG for 9 months in order for us to receive the $800+1000 rewards?

this citigold does not give any interest for the deposit ?

learnt from fellow HWZoner who learnt from Citibanker that it is no longer attractive to keep funds to earn anniversary award ... so best just 3 mths then run road

OMG, put 250K 9 mths get $1800? What other benefits? Very poor return ****, cos that's 0.72% int. nia. You go put 1.3% pa FD sua.

Maxigain should now give more than 2% right since SIBOR is around 1.25% so 80% of that PLUS 1.2% (after a year)?
