Rather than informing customers with such useless message... they shd have just make use of this mail to encourage premier customers to deposit by offering a special bonus interest in the letter to entice them back... this letter is full of fail...

How you can join us

Place a minimum of S$200,000 (or its equivalent in foreign currency) in Total Relationship Balance or

Credit a monthly salary of minimum S$15,000, with HSBC Premier fee waiver for 2 years or

Take up a property loan size of minimum S$800,000, with loan to value of 80% or less

Alternatively, if you are already an HSBC Premier customer, you can join HSBC Premier in other countries without having to maintain the minimum Total Relationship Balance.

One last question - I have a SCB credit card, but no banking relationship. If I open a SCB priority, will I still qualify for the $1000 or I am no longer considered "New to bank" customer?

Also, anyone willing to intro me and split the referral fees 50/50?
