only stocks bought via dbs wealth mgmt platform at 0.12% count towards AUm

i need to be treasures member in order to access the wealth management platform.

i wanna buy stocks using their cash upfront account, but since the shares go to cdp, i'd have to ask them to do a transfer after i've accumulated $300k worth of shares i suppose?

Is the transfer from cdp to dbs custodian free? will there be any custodian fees?

DBST will absorb the $50+ per security tfr from CDP to DBST, they’ll prefill the forms for u to sign (by courier). No custodian fees for DBST

Using it as atm card nia.. I have better miles card

But actually what’s the benefit of DBST

Can share which miles card you're using? Thinking of jumping to SCB for the krisflyer before moving to HSBC for the Premier card (since main spending online.)

Any recommendations or good sign up promos now?

Looking at setting up a $1m joint account with a close relative, so should be able to hit most privilege banking tiers.

Not going use the funds for anything for now, so something with good interest or FD privileges, or other perks such as home loan benefits.
Credit card privileges not so important since I use my own miles/cashback card which should be equivalent or better than most such cards tied to premier accounts.

So far I think best is OCBC for the $4k cash credit into voyage card for $1m fresh fund.

$1m only enough to qualify for those base tier priority banking.

now jade is not competitive already, the lock in period is too long ard 6-7 mths so you will incur opportunity costs after 3rd month with zero interest. It also dropped from $4.8K to 3.8k..

stanchart is so bad right now. ask through the phone, referral to call me and the staff either outright deny or cannot confirm if investments brought over counts under the krisflyer promo when their terms states clearly it does.

the branch staff said will call back which i doubt they ever will.

Stanchart is known for that. Terrible service and even RM are useless except for taking orders. So no wonder.

HSBC has free upgrade to HSBC premier if take up housing loan min size $800k with them.

Anyone knows if there are any other banks that offer free upgrade to priority banking level if we take up a new housing loan with them?

Thanks.
