Creative Outlier Air truly wireless earphones

I found when disconnecting Bluetooth, the vocal say disconnected is very loud.
Anyone found how to reduce the vocal volume?

Had this problem with the Jaybird X3 too... but couldn't be adjusted...

I went to try at the show just now but find the sound a bit too bright. i still prefer my existing gear icon x over this but then gear icon x cost 75% more.

Anyone tried putting 1 of the bud back to the case and use only 1 bud (like typical bluetooth headset for calls)
Will the other bud automatically connect back once u take it out of the case again?

Keen to know if can use with only 1 side.
Been using Jabra Elite for almost 2 years ($268 back then), served me really well during my regular jogs. But I always only use the right side as I prefer to keep 1 ear free in case of traffic during runs.

Hey.......since u've the x mini, can u comment on the quality of music being played from both? Is the Outlier better? The x mini drop outs is a known issue but I've learn to live with it and it's useable most times.....though disappointed. Hoping the Outlier is the one tat I'm looking for.

Are there any alternatives to the single ear tip size that they provide? So far everyone who received them seem to have a good fit so I think maybe it's well designed and not an issue at all.

I'm having fit issues with my current NT100 so I ordered this in hopes that it would solve the discomfort.

My review so far

The good,
Sound quality closely resembles the outlier one plus
The earphones very secure, did not shift during jog
Even when sprinting did not fall out, I was still worries may fall
Very shiok without wire, when jogging no wire, controller tug, hitting your face.
Very comfortable without anything on yr neck.
Sound isolation is good
Must have for gym and jogging.

Price wise at $99, I would say value for money.
If you are looking into high quality sound when doing sport, then of course you need to buy others brands.

If you are focusing on yr sports and don’t mind a not bad sound quality, this is a buy.

The bad,
Left earphone suddenly no sound when jogging, work fine after re pairing
Hope it’s a one off glitch.
When paring with iPad, it’s show connected but appear another prompt say pair headphone?
If you click ok, you end up with another Bluetooth device headphone, which is weird.
Click cancel instead
Press and hold to turn off and on volume hard to control to turn one notch up or down.


The case led.
From what I see,
L and R blue means charging the earphones, the earphones battery is more than 30%
L and R red means charging the earphones, the earphones battery currently less than 30%
The battery indicator light blue when open means the case battery more than 30%
The battery indicator light red when open means the case battery less than 30%
The charging led blue means charging case battery, more than 30%
The charging led red means charging case battery, less than 30%

The L and R and charging led not lighted means fully charged.
