Me also just retire my X-Fi xtreme, brought Soundcore Z for 129 @ video pro.

A lot says it degrades the sound as compared to using directly from the soundcard ports... FYI, they were using headphones...

The Z uses normal capacitors whereas the Zx, ZxR uses better... but if compare Z with x-fi titanum hd, whats your verdict?

I watched one of the youtube reviews for ZxR, and he compared it to the Z, saying that one of the difference is the gold caps... I believe he said it was from a new batch of Z.

If pure music, then STX is better? its geared more towards music, whereas Z series is geared towards entertainment/gaming and music.
