How come 0 cm ? What happened to the front ?

If the guards did not allowed people to stay in the wake for long, then I don't see why it's not moving ?

Maybe too many queue lines ?

Just now got one auntie cut queue , at underpass then say want to join daughter at esplanade cause she though they're ahead then still want to kpkb with officers , confirm cut since she didn't know the order of the queue . These sort of people really -_-

Theres no reason to bring kids and babies here in the first place .

Maybe the parents die die want to drag their sons and dotters here to pay LKY their respects.

I know kids and babies may not know how much of a contribution LKY made to Singapore... then again, who are we to dictate where they want to go...

Did the state media inform those with kids/babies to go to alternative tribute sites instead? sry i dont watch much TV

i seriously hope organizers plan very very well. imagine the crowd so big and start to pose safety problems, then they suddenly say no choice must close the q permanently. siao liao, those crowd might become angry mob sia. i would hate for such things to scar the singapore spirit that we are witnessing now. we are now on global radar already. hope no rascals go and start a mob.

They can bring but shlldnt expect a priority queue to be cut out for them. This would encourage many parents to bring their babies n kids out

The queuing start point itself is very confusing. This leads to alot of queue cutting, and the queuing areas at City Hall actually intertwines with regular pedestrian traffic, making it worse. Just look at this taken at 9pm+

There is an existing queue going on, and people crossing the road "merges" with the existing queue and creating a chaotic scene. The police had to usher to crowd onto the pavement asap as it was holding up legit traffic on the roads... resulted in impatient drivers horning on the road.
