Look at my earlier post again. I elaborated a little.
based on your info, you've already paid your 12th instalment last month (May). So you should cancel it after 7 June. then you apply again this month and it'll be counted for next month's interest.

that's how I intrepret it.

May (12th payment) -> counted for June -> paid out on 7 July
June (new 1st payment) -> counted for July -> paid out on 7 August

I guess need the oldies who've run a full cycle to confirm... I'm not yet at one full cycle.

I only paid 11 times as of May 2021, there was no deduction in the first month (Jul 2020) because I had to pay to start the policy.

erm, once you pay the first instalment (in June 2020), it's counted already as 1st payment, which is reflected as 1/12 in July 2020. at least that's the case for me.

if 11/12 in May then 12/12 in June. So need to buy new policy in Jun so that 1/12 in Jul.
Eh if 12/12 premium in June. Which will count for Jul interest.

it should be but in July for 1/12 and get it in aug no?

unless x/12 refers to the month it is being recognised rather than charged?

Think x/12 refers to the month it is being recognised rather than charged.

Actually no need charge monthly, even if you paid premium for the year instead of monthly, it will still count for the following 12 months.

I got a quotation for term protect for a sum of 75k 5Y and it cost only 11/mth. There's no min premium right to qualify for Multiplier tier?

Is it true? Then can pay single premium and count for 12 months?
