DBS changed its Mutiplier plan

Traz is right. At this point you will have to buy into UTs each month or start another RSP that is not ABF amd MBH.

Btw, here is my theory on why this is the arrangement.

DBS earns a distributor's commission from the sale of these UTs but the maximum amount is at the time that a new folio is created, i.e. a customer buys into it for the first time. And so in order to maximize new folios, they require folks to sell in full and wait 6 months is because it is only after 6 months of zero-holding that the UT fund house counts a new purchase as a new folio.

I don't know why they count an RSP as an investment category for 12 months only. I have 2 theories: (1) in order to force people to create new folios every year, and/or (2) although DBS earns a commision each month, after 12 months this commission is pittance.

Maybe this has been discussed here already, or the answer is already out there, in which case I'll happy to be enlightened.

Can start new fund RSP. In order to buy the same RSP after 12 months and for it to be counted again, first must sell off and wait minimum of 6 months. Just read the T&C incase of confusion, it is explained therein.

By right auto triggered if the inward transfer is in a foreign currency.

but maybe don’t take the risk and just convert $1 worth of the currency you want to transfer in, by transferring it to yourself?

basically it’s a transfer to own account option.

I remember its in the guidelines that if there arr any changes in T&Cs, must give at least one month's notice? (I may be wrong about the guidelines though).....

I cancelled my Multiplier account and switch to Cashback Bonus. I need to invest in Unit Trust as one of the criteria. But it need Customer Assessment Knowledge and need to see a Bank Customer Representative if you do not meet the requirements.

Anyone with similar experience?

Yes u need to complete the cka for the non standard 4 IS and going for unit trust instead. If you're stuck on the desktop version (bug), do so via the mobile app and it will complete the cka. I had that issue, CSO called me to debug and ended up telling me to do so via app to finally clear my cka.
