i got it half a year ago, not sure whats the onboarding offer now. As interest rate drop all the offers get nerfed too..i dont think there are any other brokerage that can offer lower than 0.12% except FSM at 0.08%, but then the higher comm from DBST is offset by the DBS multiplier interest

There is simply no other platforms, even SCB priority charges 0.18% and you dont get any perks except the VI PP which give 24x lounge access
not just 0.12%, but more of no min. FSM got min

Does the etf investment in their custodian count towards the 350k? Otherwise might seem silly to hold cash (unless your liquid portfolio is in the millions) just to gain the benefit of low commission fee.

With such low interest rate, cash drag is the invisible hand in lowering one's overall portfolio returns.

For e.g. investing 60% instead of 90% of your liquid networth.

90% - 6.67% gains on investment to get 6% equivalent returns.

60% - 10% returns would be needed to get the same 6% equivalent returns.

One problem about iwealth is that it is not real time. You need to wait 2 days to see ur portfolio updated.

This is effectively converting all DBS bank customer to Treasure customers, and the lounge will be crowded, even more crowded in future

Really stupid. Brick and mortar bank trying to be digital banks wannabe. Why bank with DBS who charge high cost for banking and give us peanuts for interest. Might as well bank with ant, SingTel, SEA.

Then why you still want to be DBS treasure customer and complain that charges $50 on fall below aum fee.

Can always cancel your treasurer status to avoid paying the $50

DBS Treasures don't seem to have benefits for you but only charge you for this and that, including custodian fees, credit card (that comes free with other priority memberships), otherwise ask you DIY?! :s13:

If so why would people want to be DBS Treasure customers?

skpuppy wants the fall below fee be waived for everyone, isn’t that means converting all Dbs customers to treasure? Put $350k, be treasure, then take out keep $500 inside, and enjoy all treasure benefit?

Sometimes I feel companies innovate for the sake of wayang rather than doing true innovation. For example: These transactions, previously only available over-the-counter, include replacing ATM/debit cards, depositing daily business earnings in coins and dollar notes[4], and instantly updating account balances. Digital ambassadors will be on-site, ready to guide customers who need help with the self-service machines. [why not full digital banking]? Cannot apply for debit card using app? Or use digital payment la. I think sometimes things are done like 1/2 1/2 in the end all get pissed off. Some uncles and aunties likes RM to help them with banking services. Now they build kiosk and let ppl self service? These facilities also located at prime area where rental are expensive. Makes sense? Seriously I don’t know

When I look at how China innovate, I am disappointed with how our SG firms does it..knn...we talk about smart nation for the longest time. Which part of our nation is smart? Amazon and China already can shop in shops/ supermarket with no need to use traditional self check out. Singapore is still scanning barcode.
