just mean chatbot not given the complete set of instructions of handling the issue

True. I already kenna once in end 2020 on this. So have to call n ask to waive off.

Their chat bot last time also stupid. If you have main card n sup card, you use chat bot to waive the main card fee, the sup card fee won’t be waive automatically. You have to call in to waive separately since no option to choose sup card in chat bot. But think after many complains, they set it that once main card fee is waive , sup card Annual fee is also waive.

if online transaction date is 31st Jan than posted date is 4th Feb, this online transaction counted under the 2k quota for the month of Jan or Feb?

Anyone know if HomeAway with MCC 6513 - Real Estate Agents and Managers gets DBS points? I'm booking an overseas holiday rental and last time I used an OCBC card and got 0 miles whilst paying a 3.5% forex fee. I can't see any exclusion in the DBS T&Cs but it does say professional services are excluded - which seems pretty broad.

They don't look at the merchant but the MCC of the product. "Real Estate Agents and Managers" is definitely not rewarded for an online shopping card such as DBS WC.

excluded under what?
Afaik, online shopping cc such as DBS WC don't use mcc exclusion list. Instead, they using valid MCC list. So as long as the MCC is not on the list, it is excluded. With that in mind, I don't see how they would put an MCC for "Real estate agents and manager" into the list.

I believe the OCBC card is the same but I think they are very very strict with the MCC assessment so I have been avoiding their cc ever since I got my first cc few years ago.

PS. my bad, what I was referring to is actually the bonus reward. Others will still get 1x reward. Even so..
Google "DBS rewards term and conditions". I think the rewards is excluded under 'payment to financial institution'. But this is all I can say. I can't refute your argument (if you have) beyond this so you can try it at your own risk after this.

not true. DBS wwmc and citi rewards are based on mcc exclusion list. Hsbc revo and ocbc titanium rewards based on whitelisted MCC. Every card is different need to refer to their individual TnC

I can't find any exclusion. And I'm talking about WWMC not WMC but there doesn't seem to be a separate thread for WWMC. Anyway I bit the bullet and made payment. It is for a holiday rental, not payment to a financial institution. I know the 6513 MCC is explicitly excluded by UOB, Citi, SC and OCBC. It annoyed me when OCBC gave 0 travel$ for a $5000 payment I made for a holiday booking using what they touted was a travel card - in fact that was when I cancelled my final OCBC credit card.

I will avoid using any rewards card for such MCCs like 6513 and expect to be rewarded. MCC 6513 likely fall under payments to Professional Service Providers exclusion list.

Instead just stick to Revolut, Youtrip or Instarem card which easily allow u to save at least 3.5% transaction fees plus watever topup cashback that you can get...

If it's possible, make a small payment first to see if you get the base points.

Or you can call DBS and ask them to check their MCC blacklist. That'll at least give you some recourse if you do rely on their words to make the spend, and don't get any points after.
