Show off? I've been replying to every single pm for those who ask. The last time I tried to share something on forum, I got so many pms/replies blaming me for it. Just look at that starhub post 1 page back.

Nice, if you really share, I take back what i say and apologies.

Many here only knows how to keep secret and refuse to share. And go around blaming people..

For you who share, I salute you. We need ppl like u.

Btw, can share with me too? haha (we can trade)

Care to elaborate? I thought all AXS transactions not eligible for 4mpd from 12 Dec onwards?

and right after this post i got like 8 pms, some clearly not having read my posts before.

just to clarify here:

E-AXS payments is dead.

there's no exceptions to this. it is however possible to find alternative methods to pay certain merchants listed on the axs website.

for those who are asking on manufactured spending, do not pm me. my monthly spending is 100% legitimate and i do no have room for manufactured spending (wwmc 2k/month citi 12k/yr both capped).

for other questions i welcome you to ask, but please be specific and not 'bro can share how to get 8k miles a month?', at least let me know your monthly spending breakdown and the cards you own beforehand.

Citi only 12k/yr meh?

Last year i got like 80k miles? Have i reached the cap already?

How should one fully utilise the use of citi miles?

I already had enough miles from DBS Altitude for KF. I even hold back buying the SPG 50% Points for both my wife & me.

Also am i the only one who can view points on the Citi App but not the DBS App?

Thanks!!! You damn zai. How to reach until no room for additional points?

citi $12k/yr, 120k points, 48k miles per card. if you use both visa and master then it doubles. afterwards only 1x, no bonus 9x.

so effectively citireward is capped at $24k per year, so is wwmc. my monthly spending across these 2 cards is roughly 4k, hence i reached the limit for these 2 cards before any sort of 'manufactured spending'.

50% spg translates to about 1.5 us cents per mile direct, but i'd recommend transferring to Marriott, then redeeming for their hotel+miles combo.

honestly dbs app is quite rubbish, i'd recommend using their website instead. but nothing beats citi's per transaction breakdown.

Actually Citibank doesn't do per transaction breakdown, but by per batches of a few days - which could be just one transaction or a couple at a time.

But it is by far, the market leader now as far as breakdown of rewards points are concerned and makes it much easier to reconcile and chase missing points.

hmm that's something new. i've only experienced multiple transactions of the same merchant being combined into 1 entry, but different transactions with different merchants always got posted as separate entries, even though they were made on the same day. thanks for the info!

Wow that means i should give up citi pm and go for citi rewards instead!

Yes i have been aiming for MR Travel Package too. Heard the value$ doubles when you go for that. So you get all your miles worth for only the hotel stay or miles. 270k Marriott to redeem. 120k miles + 7night Ritz Carlton? Cant rmb.

Yeah Siti from Citi email me a spreadsheet with all the miles earn per transaction. Amazing!

I can't believe people still use PM as their main card. If you are in for miles, you certainly need to stop using PM.

maybe not stop using PM per se, but definitely shift the focus off it and use it only to complement your other cards. i'd still use uob prvi for this purpose since it's 1.4mpd. just be double careful on excluded transactions.

you should definitely get rewards as a start, as well as all those other 4mpd cards for different purposes. regarding the 80k miles, citi PM do not have a yearly limit (along with altitude/prvi) as the rate is quite low. most of the 4mpd cards have a yearly earning limit.

for the travel package, the best value comes when you redeem 7nights cat1-5 with 132k UA miles for 270k marriott points or 90k spg points. it's definitely a steal here. if you redeem for higher cat hotels or SQ miles though, it's only an average value. 270k points for 7nights + 85k sq miles and it definitely pales in comparison. UA miles can actually get you some pretty good deals, if you don't intend to fly on sq.

consider ppv (limited) and hsbc advance if you exceed $2k a month. 2mpd is definitely subpar.

None of the Cards here can transfer to SPG or Marriott or United Airlines. So although it's a better value, there just isn't a way for us to accumulate that type of currency via credit card spending.

I've already maxed out both PPV n HSBC. My monthly online expenditure exceeds $15k. These are non air tickets, else I would have used Altitude.
